Alt7 is a weblog edited by Dean Terry, new media artist and writer. His area of interest and expertise is the intersection of the arts, humanities, technology, and culture. His creative work has been seen nationwide and internationally.

Mr. Terry is also a noted entrepreneur with 14 years experience in the digital media business. In 1999 he sold his award winning new media entertainment company PixelWave to AtomFilms (now AtomShockwave). There he directed, wrote, and produced numerous widely viewed online projects.

He is currently a professor of Arts & Humanities at the University of Texas at Dallas and teaches interactive digital art, aesthetics, and media studies.
