| | Sneaker Pimps - Post-Modern Sleaze | ] | I am supremely relaxed right now, and I LOVE it. I've been stressed to the max lately, so it's nice to have some alone time. My bedroom and kitchen are clean, and they were big messes so I have a fantastic sense of satisfaction at the moment. I'm just chilling now with a drink, a comfy couch and some nice candles. Oh yeah, this feels GREAT after a long day of work and school. This is the first time I've felt this great in a couple of weeks. |

| | The Killers - Somebody Told Me | ] | I am very close to losing it with my boss. I've been given 4 early (before 7:00am) shifts in a row this week, and 5 before 8:00am next week. This is fucking crazy. I'm in school. I had to leave a class early today because I was falling asleep. The problem is that my manager has been putting in 12 hour days because our store is having MAJOR labour shortages lately. I don't mind working 20-25 hours/week, but when they are all that early, and basically don't allow me to catch up on sleep it's really not quite fair. I'm going to talk to him soon, because this is killing me :( |

| | Radiohead - Optimistic | ] | Saturday evening I will be participating in the "AIDS walk for life" It is raising money to support a variety of local charities and organisations which help those with AIDS or help to prevent the spread to others. If everyone could bring an extra $5 with them it would be greatly appreciated. Tax receipts will be sent to those who want them
Thank you very much! |

| | Janet Jackson - All Night (Don't Stop) remix | ] | Leaving on Nov 12th on a 6:30am flight to NEW YORK CITY!!! *ducks as Eric throws a large, heavy object at my head* Staying till the evening of the 14th. It's not long but it's an almost free weekend in NYC. This is my B-Day present from my mom and somewhat of a 50th BDay present from my mom to herself. I'll also be 21 this time, so I'll be legal to go clubbing with beautiful NYC boys. I'm just slightly excited!!! Shopping, shows, museums, clubbing, and boys. YUM YUM! Anyone have any suggestions on what I should see and do? |

Went to visit Justine in Perth on Friday night, and I was already tired then so I guess it makes sense that I would pass out like I did. Feels so good though. Hopefully football will get off the ground this weekend :-)
Oh yeah...I got Heather a job interview at my store today. I'm so happy for her, and I think she has a pretty good chance of getting the job. YIPPEE!!!! |

| | Orgy - Blue Monday | ] | I just read about this http://www.livejournal.com/community/queerottawa/31601.html on queerottawa and it sounds awsome. Basically it is a gay punk night rather then the usual house music. I think we should try to get a group out, because it would be a great change from the crap gay bars in Ottawa. It's next friday night, so if you are interested GET OUT THERE!!!! |

| | Ani Difranco - Cradle And All | ] | Thanks to all those who came over last night. I had a great time, and I hope everyone else did too. Watching Family Guy in my stuffy room was awsome, and when the party moved outside, it was even better. Sat and drank on my front porch till about 12:30. I think everyone was pretty much trashed (god I was) but it's alllllll gooooood. Even got to see Dale tipsy. *gasp* Now I just need to get a bottle opener. Using needle-nose pliers to open beers is super ghetto. Icon was pretty good too, and even Alvin came out which is quite surprising. I think the little raver-child had fun though.
PS. To all those who left alcohol in my kitchen you have a couple days to claim it before it's mine. There is an almost full mickey of Absolut. I'm excited :-) |

JUSTINE IS BACK IN OTTAWA!!!!!! Woohoo!!
On another note, I'm pretty much moved in. I think this will be my first night at the new place. My room is pretty much all setup and DAMN it looks good (if I do say so myself). I can't wait for everyone to come and visit, as I am alone in it until Monday. I'm slowly figuring out particularities of the place, and I like even more everyday. ahh...now I'm just exhausted from moving and working EARLY every morning. I'm going to bed! |

| | The Killers - Somebody Told Me | ] | Started "the move" today. Wrestled a sofabed outta my parent's house and into mine. Two doors had to be removed, but we got it in. Also discovered some of the err...."eccentricities" of the place.
- Downstairs neighbours are complete potheads. Said that they would hook us up. We can smell the weed coming up through the vents. mmm....this could prove handy - We have REALLY small stairways. We are going to have to take the railing off so that I can get my bookcase up the second flight of stairs. - We have a broken window, and two broken screens - Someone PAINTED the windows in my room and basically sealed one closed, but the other OPEN!!! I REALLY hope it doesn't rain. - The shower was built for midgets. I'm the tallest in the house so it doesn't really matter - Our side neighbours seem cool - The light switches are weird! - WE HAVE FREE PREMIUM CABLE. Alvin plugged in his TV and it worked. So we went to the corner store, bought some snacks, and watched cheesy sex discussion show on the Life Network.
I'm sure I'll find more tomorrow. Time for bed now. |
