Student Academy Awards Three students from New York and one from Northern California took home gold medals on Sunday, June 13 in the Academy's 31st annual Student Academy Awards competition. In all, 13 students from the United States and one from Denmark received awards.

Academy Science and Technology Councilwas created
by the Academy Board of Governors in 2003 in response to the
major technological developments taking place in the motion
picture industry.
