Long go, communities could be made members of another community without their permission or approval. This was done on ![[info]](http://library.vu.edu.pk/cgi-bin/nph-proxy.cgi/000100A/http/web.archive.org/web/20040501180806im_/http:/=2fstat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) communitysearch by a previous moderator.
However, since I know many of those communities did not wish to be members of this one, and since I have no way of telling which ones were added against their will and which ones joined voluntarily, I have unsubscribed all communities unless I am fairly certain that they added themselves.
If your community has been unsubscribed, but you wish to have it a member, please just rejoin. It is no longer possible for anyone to add a community to a member list without their permission, so there won't be any problems of that sort in the future.
Apologies to those who have been inconvenienced. Also apologies if this is unclear, just leave a comment and I will try to clarify if there is anything you do not understand. Terminology is a bit tricky :/ |
