~Me~
I am at the moment 21 years of age and a student at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. I am both heavily interested in and involved in martial arts, Asian studies, film, video, documentary work, cultural studies, and anime. I'm "concentrating"(my college has no majors) in East Asian Studies with a focus on Japan film and video production/studies, with an emphasis on documentary and travel film. ~Warnings~
I rant alot in this journal, so if you have issues with that, this probably isn't a journal for you. I also am bipolar and sometimes need to use this journal as an outlet to just let the emotions out, so it can get a little scary here sometimes, but trust me, it always gets better. I also post alot of photos, as I am a visual person and associate events with pictures. Most are behind an LJ cut, though some aren't. I also sometimes post quite frequently, up to ten times a day(though that's pretty unusual), so if that will clutter up your friends list and bother you, don't add me unless you're a masochist.
~One More Thing~
I write alot of letters, snail mail. If you'd like to recieve letters from me, email me your address. You don't have to reply, or send me letters yourself, but it's nice if you do. Especially now that it's summer, I will have alot of time, so if you want to receieve mail (I even send mail to other countries), please let me know!
