Hi,

My name is Mark and I am doing research on the internet and people choices of screen names/anonymity on the internet. To aid in my research I need help from companies such as yourself. I need a list of all the screen names chose by the users of Live Journal (preferably separated by male and female). Other firms have been a great help to me and my team, and I would greatly appreciate your support.

Thank You,
Mark

Alone.

The Red Line MAX apparently goes all the way to Elmonica / 170th later at night, so I made it home before the projected 1:30AM arrival. The sad thing is, Nicole's flight was delayed by 1/2 hour, so she hasn't even left yet. I'm home, and she's still waiting for a plane.

Can't sleep right now.

Nicole is getting ready for her trip. What to take? And what to leave behind?

She won't have enough time tomorrow to pack, since we'll pretty much have to walk the dogs and leave (it's about 1:45 minutes from the 170th station to the airport). I'll get in tomorrow morning at 1:30AM, then it's another week of solitude. I'll most likely finish up a bunch of work (hopefully).

Blah.

Dinner was fun (a little too fun). Good times with the Retard LJ crew.

Time for a cold shower.

Think I'm catching up on some sleep. Today Nicole and I rode the MAX all the way out to the airport, because she's leaving late Tuesday night and I wanted to see how long the trip was and how the airport was laid out. So we got to the airport, checked out some of the shops, watched the Judo demonstration (wtf?). and then hopped on the MAX return leg.

We must've looked like tourist losers or something, going to the airport without luggage or a flight :-p

Anyways, we got back here, chilled for a while, and fell asleep for a few hours. I just woke up. I haven't taken a nap in forever.

Back to my video game. Maybe I'll fall asleep again nevermind, allergies and hunger kicked in. Time to eat!

No special story for this song, just something that pops up in my work headphones more than a few times a day.

Retard crew, Nick, and I went to see Forrest Gump 2 the Terminal tonight. It was actually pretty good, but I don't think Nicole was a fan. Plus, Stanley Tucci wasn't really an asshole :-p

So tired. zzzz →

Hello LiveJournal I update you now.

Last Friday some of the guys at the office and I went down to the theater around the corner to see the latest Harry Potter movie. It was a spur of the moment decision, and so we picked the shittiest theater to go to. The matinee was kinda crowded with kids, the sound kept popping all throughout the movie, and before the last 10 minutes of film played the screen blacked out and the lights came on. Plus, just like Shrek 2 I was given the movie-moment-play-by-play by the stupid mom sitting behind me. Why bring your 4 year old to a movie if you're going to proceed to tell them the entire story while they're watching it play out before them?

Despite the bad experience the movie itself wasn't horrible, but I just didn't understand the point to a lot of it. That, and the climax of the movie was dependent on time travel. If you need to work time travel into your story to wrap things up, you need to travel back in time and write a better story.

My opinion of Harry Potter aside, I wasn't able to post a new song of the week, due to the impromptu movie.

Listen to: Xiu Xiu - Clowne Towne (Link from record label website, I can't guarantee its availability)

There you go.

In other news, Nicole's leaving for Massachusetts (holy shit I spelled that right) in a few weeks to hang out with her family, so I'll be all by my lonesome for five days. Sad.

In other other news, [info]dina had a graduation party last night which was pretty fun. We wound up at Red Robin instead of the hot tub though, don't know how we managed that :-p

Back to work!

Dear Public,

Please try to remember who you add to your buddy lists…being asked "who r u" 20 times in-a-row when I decide to turn my privacy settings off makes me question who I really am. Me no need identity crisis.

kthxbye.

I'm in the office right now. Voluntarily, even. Trying to catch up with my style. Kinda bored, but I did clean and reorganize my desk. So clean! :-p

I think I'm still too used to working alone/at home. Not so much alone I guess; everyone else is situated in the sun room, so it's just Michael and I in the front room. Working at home had the advantage of being productive at 3AM without being out of the house. Not that I can't be productive at 3AM now, but I'm actually on a decent sleep schedule, and everyone's here from 9-6 (roughly). Plus, when I get home I try to not think about work unless something comes up. Though, I've been doing more here the past few weeks, so maybe I'm adjusting.

That aside, let me describe my work area to you: On my left is Brad's office with large windows, so if his door is open there's plenty of sunlight in here. Directly in front of me is Michael's desk and his G5, which tends to sound like a jet engine whenever he's multi-tasking. On the walls around us are tons of post cards and memorabilia, some geographic, some homemade, some with people staring directly at us. Yes you, creepy tattooed-face shaman. On my right there's a book shelf that I keep my reference & sketch books on. The bottom shelf is reserved for swag our users have sent us: some sea monkeys, a book about slinkies, an 8-ball, etc. Someone sent us a homemade pencil box that looks like an ancient book. Pretty cool.

Back to work now.
