Content from The New York Times, owner of the International Herald Tribune, is also available in the archives for one week. Please visit their search page, www.nytimes.com, to access any content no longer available at www.iht.com.

How do I use the search function?

Type a keyword into the search box to obtain any and all articles containing that keyword, dating back to 2000. Click on Advanced Search to limit your query by section, author and/or date range.

How can I submit a Letter to the Editor or submit an Opinion piece?

For Letters to the Editor, write to letters@iht.com.

To submit an Opinion piece, write to opinion@iht.com.

All submissions should contain the writer’s name and full address, and are subject to editing. We do not acknowledge or return unsolicited submissions.

When is the Web site updated?

The site is normally updated by 12:00AM GMT on the day of publication. We may also update the site at other times to report a breaking story or to add a Web-only feature to the site.

What are Publishing Partnerships?

In Israel, Greece, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Lebanon, and Spain, the International Herald Tribune is in partnership with seven high-profile, quality newspapers to provide a special supplement of local news, in English. These supplements are available in PDF format on iht.com at: www.iht.com/global.htm.

Due to differences in time zones, the update schedule on this portion of the site varies among supplements, though these sections are usually updated by midday GMT on the date of publication.

How can I get permission to reprint an International Herald Tribune article?

Please contact The New York Times Syndicate in Paris for permission to reprint a New York Times or International Herald Tribune article that appeared in our pages. Email Claire Saint-Andre at saint-andre@fr.inter.net
