Hello all, Sorry about the mass email, but I thought you all should read this. I know a lot of you frequent health food stores both in Toronto and elsewhere, and I wanted to let you know about how disappointed I am in one large health store in Toronto... NOAH's. I went in there today looking for sponsorship support for a youth summit that deals with food issues, thinking even if NOAH's couldn't support the summit financially they might at least be civil. But no, apparently the owner, David, does not have time for youth. He didn't express concerns about not having the money, he just said that youth are not important to him and that he doesn't want to support any youth ventures. I wish to show him how wrong that is. This email is to all my youthful friends, many of whom are vegetarian/vegan and conscious of the choices they make regarding their health. They also make conscious decisions about who they give their money to. David, you should know that youth are where the money's at. Not only do they represent a large portion of the economy, they are also the future "adult" population that you so favour. If you wish to have adult customers, you must respect the youthful ones. I am proposing that all the folks I have emailed here pass on this message to their youthful friends and boycott NOAH's. In solidarity with my youthful, health conscious friends, Laura

There is an amazing amount of food in our boardroom, and it's heading out to the Daily Bread Food Bank today. I guess when you have a competition, and there's 4 guys from Toronto Fire Service coming to pick up the food, in an office consisting of loads of women, of course it's gonna get crazy. This morning was so funny. All these people were running down the street to the grocery store, to get more stuff. It's stuff like that that makes me like Christmas. Unlike last night at the mall. Ick. That was not fun. Thank goodness I only have to run down the street and pick up a book for my mom, and then stop at a store on my walk home tonight, and I will be completely done! Hope everyone has a great weekend. xo

![]() You are Peter Gibbons.. and you just don't give a fuck. Which Office Space Character Are You? brought to you by Quizilla Heh. I was kinda hoping for Michael Bolton, since he gets to beat the cuh-rap out of a fax machine, and because of that, he's the one I liked the best in the movie. Anyway, the appointment with the employment counsellor went pretty well. I am getting signed up for career counselling that starts in just over a week, so hopefully that'll help me figure out what the heck I want to do. I think I'll take a walk to the library, return a couple of books (Prozac Nation got better again towards the end. Overall, not a terrible book, but not terrific, either. I'd get it from a library, but not buy it, if I had the choice. The books by Erica Lopez, however, are hilariously funny, and I'd totally buy them if I had the money.), and see if I can find the book What Color is Your Parachute, and see if that can help me any before I go for this Career Counselling stuff. Blah blah blah. Tonight is a party at Dan's (Scott's best friend's old roommate), tomorrow is waiting for my copy of HP to arrive, then hopefully going to a driving range so that I can get some practice before I have to golf on Sunday. Have a great weekend, everyone. xo

canada has 20,000 Jedi! if i'd gotten the long census form (of course not. it went to the stupid people next door, i'll bet) that year, that's what i was going to fill in, but no, on the short form, they don't care what you have to say about what "religion" you are.
