I'm pleased to announce that Josh Benson, a recently departed TNR reporter-researcher, will be taking over my blogging duties while I wrap up an assignment this week. Josh has a cutting wit, a keen eye for politics, particularly the California variety, and a subtle grasp of policy. He also holds the TNR rookie stolen-base record. Any apparent improvements on Josh's watch are purely coincidental.
