FOREIGNERS will not be allowed to purchase agricultural land in Bulgaria until seven years have passed after the country joins the European Union, according to the Government official in charge of European integration matters, Zanaida Veleva.
 
 
RESIDENTS of the Smolyan village of Ghela chose an interesting way to protest against the refusal by the UK embassy in Sofia to issue visas for the members of the local amateur folklore ensemble, who were invited to a traditional folklore festival in Wales.
