Holy crap. I haven't posted in like a month...

A whole shitload of stuff has happened...

Birthday
Got a bunch of money, and a new cell phone. NEC 525. Makes me happy. (571)-247-6181. Call me. Text me. Make me feel loved.
I've used all the money I've had this month to buy stockpiles of books. I have so much to read I'm set for the rest of the year. And yet I still go to the library and take out the max I can. I'm crazy.

Spitony's
So fuck Quizno's. They FINALLY called back yesterday...much later then they said they would. I don't really care anymore though, since I started working at Spitony's with Justin, Chris and Phil like 2 days after my Quizno's interview. I make $8 an hour plus tips, and if I'm good for the first month there is a rumored 25 cent raise. Tamara also works in the second building down from this one, so I can visit on my break if I'm so inclined (and not busy eating one of those damn gyros...they're so freaking good).

School
hah. learning. yeah right. Geopolitics paper due next Monday, it's a monster...15 pages...I'm doing The Arab-Israeli Conflict Peace Process, or something to that effect. English we've got that othe rpaper due Friday...gah. Computer Science has turned into the biggest joke ever. Since we've lost the lab to SOLs, all we do is play cards and watch computer movies. So far we've watched 2001: A Space Odyssey, War Games, and Hackers. Represent.

Prom
Prom was last Saturday, I went with Tamara. It was fun, over all. We went to Fantastico's with Todd and Ana Kristen (Todd is Tam's brother) and then we all went to Carousel, whose line was insanely long. Actual prom kind of sucked, the DJ table lost power like 5 times. Brendan and I did coerce him into playing Rock the Casbah though...that was good. Instead of going directly to after prom, everyone went to Shannon's house to swim and hang around and stuff. Then we went back to after prom, where I tied Coleman in the obstacle course, beat Tam at rock climbing, and got the dizziness instilled in me for the rest of the night from the mechanical bull. Then Tam and I got tired so we went back to her place and fell asleep watching movies. Good times. Woke up in the morning, her dad made us breakfast..then she went to get ready for work while her dad and I cleaned out my car. When Tam was changing in the car at Shannon's...she left her bra in the front seat....you tell me that's not awkward when her dad is right there. Then give that bra to her dad and tell me that's not awkward either. Oh well.

Pictures to come soon. I hated my hair, it looked curly and straight at the same time, and shorter then it really is. Bah.

Today
Dad's BBQ'ing ribs while my mom's swiss friends are coming over to chill. Tyler and Justi are coming to play video games with me, mainly BFVietnam and Red Faction. Good times to be had.

Lot's been going on lately...

AP Computer Science test yesterday...free response? hah...YEAH RIGHT! if(hasNotEaten > 4){ die(); } That's about all I put.
AP Calculus was even worse....I started a differential equation, but nothing else...I'll be lucky to get 3's on either of them.

Went back to court to day, to show the judge my Driver Improvement Certificate. He decided to dismiss all charges, what a nice guy =D

Got a tux for prom too, saw Justi and Shannon on the way.

Lots of shit to do, English project, Oman paper, some other craaaaaaaap.

I wanted to mention something else, but I forget what it was.

Didn't do anyhting productive in English, had a regular Geopolitics day.

Then Computer Science. GOOD SHIT.

Chris Melissinos, who is the Chief Gaming Officer (or some such nifty title) for Sun Microsystems came by to talk to us today.

HE IS SO FUCKING COOL.

He brought Jakey some Diablo figurines and the disks they were handing out at the GDC, and a fucking case of Bawls for the rest of us. He is my hero.

You can't find a cooler Chief of anything then Chris. He's so laid back, he wears cool clothes to work, none of that suit bullshit, AND HE PLAYS VIDEOGAMES DURING CONFERENCES WITH THE PRESIDENT OF SUN! How badass is that?

He told us all about games on Java and how it's revolutionizing the industry. Especially the Blade servers. Oh man, MMORPGs will never be the same when they bust the Blades out. Cell phone interactivity with games is going to make gaming addictions go completely out of control. You'll be able to leave your house and still be in touch with the video game you couldn't tear away from. Crazy stuff.

After school, Justi and I went to see Kill Bill Volume 2. Honestly, I liked the first a whole lot more. However, Pai Mei makes Vol. 2 so great it isn't even funny. I want an action figure of him NOW.

Then we went to visit Annie at Hollywood Video, and I got her chinese.

Spring Break..yay! [06 Apr 2004|06:19pm]

Went to Tyler's LAN Party last night. That was awesome. There were like 20 guys there; I didn't know half of them. We had 4 xboxes linked up and we pimped the Halo for awhile. Then we moved onto the Quake III tourney...fun shit, I came in 3rdish. Justin of course was god, but then again that's Justin for you. We were supposed to go to bed at 1, but that sure as hell wasn't happening. After some UT2004, those of us who managed to ride the caffeine high this far watched Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Half Baked, and Hey There, Tiger Lily or some such odd Woody Allen movie. We eventually fell asleep at 6 in the morning. The sun was rising, so I count that as pulling an all nighter. Tyler's mom made us this nice big country style breakfast, it was great.

Then, while I waited for Arthur to pack his shit up so I could take him home (since I unintentionally volunteered for it..oh well) I beat the original NES Super Mario Brothers in an amazing 15 minutes. I felt like one of those Japanese guys who make the movies of them doing it flawlessly and such. It was awesome.

So I'm not really allowed on the computer after 6 anymore because of my dad. Whatever. The newly allocated time in my schedule has been used for spending time with my Annie and some more bonding with Justi. TV has also reminded me waht good friends we used to be.

Carousel is open again. I got a 99 on my English paper. Joey cheated on Stasia. Justi makes Stasia happy. And other stuff.
