| About: | This community will discuss the principles of good web design. So much of our focus as designers is on the back end of things we sometimes forget what it's like to look at something really original, so here we can exchange eye candy and critique each others' designs. We're not trying to discuss how a website is made, but what is important in making it.
So join in and say hello and tell us a bit about yourself. Tell us what you like in web design, what your pet peeves are, where your site is (and whether or not you want hints on making it better!)
Then post URLs like crazy. Good ones, okay ones, really bad ones, and we'll discuss how the design elements presented by the website in question can be applied to other formats and principles.
You can also post favorite books and resources on web design. This is an emerging field where new things are coming out all the time, so feel free to keep us up to date. |
