Hi everyone! We're a rock band from Manchester, England called Obsessive Compulsive.

[info]obcom is our band journal, we use it mainly as a tour diary, writing about the places we've played and our drunken rock n roll escapades :-D But we also use it to keep fans and friends of the band updated on what we've been up to and where we're playing next etc...

Add us if you're into underground or UK rock bands or if you're into any of the following bands which we dig....

AFI, Alice In Chains, Tomahawk, David Bowie, Nick Cave, Dead Boys, Faith No More, The Cramps, Guns N Roses, Hell Is For Heroes, Nirvana, HIM, Hole, Soundgarden, Iggy Pop, Dresden Dolls, Johnny Thunders, Manic Street Preachers, Horrorpops, I-DEF-I, Metallica, New York Dolls, Nine Inch Nails, Paradise Lost, Smashing Pumpkins, The Cult, White Zombie, Joy Division, Queen, Misfits, Radiohead, Henry Rollins, Velvet Revolver, David R Black, Tiger Army, ACDC, Stone Temple Pilots, Rancid, The Ga Ga's, Life Of Agony, Black Label Society, The Wildhearts, Blind Melon, Audioslave, U2, Tool, Poison, Incubus, Lenny Kravitz, Zodiac Mindwarp, Descendents, Lords Of The New Church, Psychadelic Furs, Green Day, Killing Joke, Tom Waits, Kate Bush, Hanoi Rocks, Generation X, Poison Idea, Danzig, LA Guns, Skid Row, Dillinger Escape Plan, Testament, Slayer, Pantera, Muse, Sick of it all, Motley Crue, Black Flag, The Transplants, Jack Off Jill, The Dead Kennedys, Marilyn Manson, Garbage, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tori Amos, Black Sabbath, Placebo, Rammstein, The Cure........

That's about all you need to know about us!

Subject:Obscure rock Band
Posted by:harlequin917.
Time:11:58 am.

Here is a new band named Morella.  It's unconventional music that mixes various styles together. It houses elements of metal, punk, and jazz/funk. The songs are non-formatted but still manage to flow. It is alittle hard to describe, if you hear it you'll know what I'm explaining. There is a place to leave feedback on the website. Check them out, I think they're worth the time.

Time:9:56 pm.

time to introduce a slovenian band. they're called psycho-path and have been classified as noise rock. their latest album brings a more mature sound than the previous ones. and uhm, since i can't think of a band to compare them to, maybe you should just give them a listen :)

weapon of opportunity
sonny
(let me know if the links are broken)

you can also check them out at southern records. they'll be touring britain in september i believe.

first time posting, but anyway..

Criteria
this band's been around for about a year now, but if you haven't heard of them, i highly recommend them. especially if you're into the whole saddle creek scene (though they aren't on the label). but it's fronted by stephen pedersen, co-founder of Cursive and the White Octave.

Beady Belle - April Fool
The most jazzy, funky band from Norway, and no hint of an accent. They've got a very appealing sounds that also adds perfectly timed electronic beats to the mix, and are fantastic live.

Radiohead - I am a wicked child
It's the kind of song that makes you believe Radiohead could have been any kind of band they wanted. This time around it's the wonderful sounds of the Beatles from the late 70's. Melodic and distorted out like the last song written by Lennon with a lazy eye.
