Kamloops-area campfire ban lifted 
There's some more good news about the B.C. forest fire situation. Rain and cooler temperatures have allowed the B.C. Forest Service to lift a ban on campfires in the Kamloops region. However, the Forest Service is still cautioning people to be careful with fires. 
Ellard blames others for Virk's death 
Accused killer Kelly Ellard tearfully denied Wednesday that she killed 14-year-old Reena Virk seven years ago. Ellard, testifying for the second day at her B.C. Supreme Court murder trial, sobbed in the witness box when she described to the jury the beating given to Virk by several teenagers.
