Kamloops-area campfire ban lifted There's some more good news about the B.C. forest fire situation. Rain and cooler temperatures have allowed the B.C. Forest Service to lift a ban on campfires in the Kamloops region. However, the Forest Service is still cautioning people to be careful with fires.
