always searching for an answer...

an experiment.
i think i'm going to attempt an experiment.

sleep is overrated. so is eating. so i don't think i'm going to do either one anymore.

hey, in the end it'll probably fail, sure.. but it'll be fun while it lasts, no?

Current Mood: blank
Current Music: information society - how long

here goes nothing...
finally making another attempt at sleep. at 8:30 in the damn morning.

maybe when i wake up, life won't suck so much.

yeah, right.

Current Mood: tired

Add to Memories
you know...
it's nights like this when i would have sat in my chair with her curled up in my lap. and no matter how sucky things were otherwise, everything would be okay for a while.

call me a sap if you want, but i miss her.

maia

Current Mood: sad

le sigh.
here we are, after 6 am and i've yet to get to sleep.

why do i do this to myself...?

i think i see the finish line...
i wanna take you on a roller coaster
i wanna tell you that i'm feeling closer
i wanna push it right over the line
i wanna push it right over the line
the line that you draw when you draw me near
the line that you draw when you draw me near

i want i want i want i want i want i want i want i want i want to leave you far behind
i want i want i want i want i want i want i want i want i want to leave you far behind

don't read this if you are republican/conservative and can't handle having your questionable (and often contradictory) ideals challenged...

things you have to believe in order to be a republican today... )

unintelligent responses will be responded to with ridicule. you've been warned. :P

Current Mood: sleepy

Add to Memories
couldn't sleep, so i went out walking
thinking about you, and hearing us talking
and all the things i should have said
echo now, inside my head

i feel something falling from the sky
i'm so sad i made the angels cry
tears from the moon
fall down like rain
i reach for you
i reach in vain

tears from the moon, tears from the moon

it just ain't fair, this thing called loving
when one's still there and the other feels nothing
i would have done anything for you
i still love you, baby i adore you

all day i keep from falling apart
but at night when the sky gets dark
tears from the moon
fall down like rain
i reach for you
i reach in vain

stop, stop haunting me
it should be easy
as easy as when you stopped wanting me

tears from the moon
fall down like rain
i reach for you
i reach in vain

tears from the moon
fall down like rain
but tears from the moon
can't wash away the pain

tears from the moon, tears from the moon
tears from the moon, tears from the moon

argh. and a half.
it's 3 in the damn morning. and i'm exhausted.

"so why don't you get your ass in bed?", you may ask?

cos i'm working on this stupid piece of shit, that's why:

(identifying details have been blurred out)

now, don't get me wrong, i like how it looks (apart from a few really wacky colors picked out by the people that [info]boldar and i are building the site for)... i'm just sick and tired of this project. and when i say "sick and tired", i cannot possibly emphasize the words "sick and tired" enough. are you getting the picture here?

we are getting paid nowhere near what we deserve for the incredible amount of work we're having to do on this thing... which isn't our fault... the idiots we're doing it for simply neglected to mention a lot of important details before we quoted them a price. unfortunately, most of these details are technically within the scope of the contract that we had them sign. so we have to suck it up and deal with it. and i swear, right now it feels like this project is never going to be over. we're already about 2 weeks past our projected completion date, and it's going to be at least another 2 weeks before we're done, i'm sure... if not longer.

shoot me now.

oh, shit.
it's friday the 13th.

how funny that i just saw a black cat crossing the street a little bit ago. i suppose it's a good thing it didn't cross in front of me.

no, i'm not superstitious at all.. but with the way my luck has been going lately, i'm thinking that since it's friday the 13th, i should just avoid any interaction which could possibly result in anything bad happening to me.

translation? i should just stay in bed all day. :P

(god, don't i wish... i have too much work to do..)

hahahahahahaHAHAHA.
from cnn: microsoft announces 'xp lite' in asia

The new software's "simplified task management" in which "first-time home PC users can have up to three programs running concurrently" represents a downgrade from the standard XP system. A full XP version can run many more programs concurrently, depending on the amount of memory in a computer.

Other downgrades include "display resolution set to 800x600 maximum and no support for PC-to-PC home networking, sharing printers across a network or more advanced features such as the ability to establish multiple user accounts on a single PC," the company said.

The new software retains standard XP features such as Internet connectivity, Windows Messenger, Windows Media Player 9 and digital photography support.

well, considering that xp lite will be just as susceptible to spyware as the full version of xp, if not more so, i feel bad for anyone using this computer on the internet. you won't be able to even open a web browser because the spyware will use up your 3 program limit. :P

does microsoft really think that this is going to give them some sort of edge over linux? please. and they're probably STILL going to charge $50 per copy... less than the full version, yes... but still considerably more than linux, which can be had for free, and which doesn't have limits on the number of processes you can run, or display resolution, or networking.

mr. gates... you're really missing the point here.
