I'm liking the new job a lot. I haven't had much spare time this week due to some other things, but it looks like the weekend is going to be fun, at the very least.
More later!

I like the new iMac a lot. A lot. I am tempted.
SuperDeluxe is getting back together and releasing an album. This makes me very happy. (Also I found out Braden released a solo album earlier this year, but when I listened to it I found it a little too Beatles-esque for my taste.)
I am having a cranky hair day. Ponytails do not want to sit correctly.

Overheard unnamed co-werker who sits near me: When I think of Ghengis Khan, I think of Chinese restaurants, not historical figures.

We met up with a guy from my second job at a place down the street yesterday night to just hang out and also sing a bit of karaoke (which I'd actually never done at a bar/restaurant before). I had a blast, despite ending the night not feeling quite as well as I could have. We don't go out often like that as much anymore, and it was a nice change of pace. I think we might do it again.
Was going to head out to the M. tonight, to see some old friends (and also maybe see a certain lj friend) but I got home late from job 2 and I'm not feeling the best, so I think I'm going to have stay in this evening.
The new job has been really enjoyable so far, in all kinds of ways. I was worried about a few things when I started, but I think it's not so much of a big deal now. This week was super busy since I was going in a bit later than normal for my first week, which meant I was getting to job 2 a little later... so I'm glad the weekend is here.
Been feeling borderline on the crazy manic side this week. I suppose it's good I have all this stuf keeping me busy.

Some days I just do not feel like me. Or my life.
Not that I know who I do feel like.
But I've installed Panther (OSX/10.3) onto the Mac, and everything seems to be running well and I've just installed all the stuf that required me to have 10.3 before I could install them so I'm happy, despite my obvious lack of writing skills this evening.
I stood outside in the wind with my hair blowing this evening. (It's really windy out there!) It was after dark but still warm. I like the wind.
When I turn the music on on the mac, the cat goes nuts trying to put her paw in the hole in the front. Then she runs around to the back to stare at the cables.

Things to cart out:
.1 box.
plus: .1 file folder .1 spiral notebook
plus: .1 mac g4 .1 viewsonic 19" monitor
I can't believe I condensed into one box.
Still have a few things to finish up before I can head out. But overall, looking good.

Organic broccoli.

Life has been extremely chaotic as of late. So many things are going on and I'm barely keeping up with them. The main thing, however, is that I've accepted a new job and am resigning my current position.
I'll be starting at Nordstrom as a creative web dev in two weeks. This means I'll be werking with dotgirl again!
Though it means a lot of change (for me), I'm pretty excited about the whole thing. More details to come; I've still got to write up my resignation letter and give it to the appropriate people.

[Listening to No Doubt's "Ex-Girlfriend" in the car]
The James: Is she saying, How come you're always doin' it with your ex-girfriend?
Zannah [after recovering from laughter]: No. It's: I kinda always knew I'd end up your ex-girlfriend.
The James: Oh. . . I guess that's good, or it would have really sucked for Gavin.

There was a fire a few blocks from our house, but we came home too late to actually see it; now it's just a plume of smoke. We would have had a great view for pics when it was going on if we'd been home.
There was another huge fire on the other side of the freeway; we could see that from the balcony, but they've put it out now.
Fires everywhere tonight.
