Good piece, Pej. Although I can't help wondering, when I see the prevailing anti-Americanism in Europe, whether the US did indeed loose the peace, although it may have become apparent 60 years later, once the Damocles' sword -the Communist bloc- disappeared.
Countries that were helped by the US to get rid of tyranny are hating everything American 60 years later, forgetting everything. Do we have reasons to expect that it will be different now?
