NextJam Radio
Rather than repeat myself, I will not be posting music recorded at NextJam on the Radio Blog located here. Instead, you can find alot of samples loaded at the NextJam web site, http://www.nextjam.com/njproductions_014.htm
Enjoy, some of it's pretty good.
T.G.I. Friday Five
1. What's the most daring thing you've ever done?
I'd rather not say, but it involves the opposite sex. I guess something a little tamer would be starting my own business.
2. What one thing would you like to try that your mother/friend/significant other would never approve of?
*snicker, i guess i should get my mind out of the gutter...
3. On a scale of 1-10, what's your risk factor? (1=never take risks, 10=it's a lifestyle)
I would say I'm a 4, I don't gamble (except the frickin' stock market) and as far as physical risk, I am pretty good at predicting outcomes so I shy away from risky stuff. I would never sky dive or bungee jump.
4. What's the best thing that's ever happened to you as a result of being bold/risky?
took a risk and got laid. I also took out a loan and started a recording studio business.
5. ... and what's the worst?
took a risk, got laid and lost a best friend. And being in debt from starting a new business.
As I have said, I am not a risk taker. I didn't like roller coasters as a kid or horror movies. I have gotten over those fears but I still do not gamble for profit. I don't play the lottery. I am a very habitual person and risk taking is not one of my habits.

Too busy to Piss
Damn I'm busy today. I gotta piss like a race horse but the phone keeps ringing. I've gotten alot done today but still a backlog for tomorrow. You can usually tell how busy I am based on the frequency of my postings or length. The Mobile blog set up was pretty quick this morning but I havn't had time to take anymore pics or hardly read any blogs.
Now I am on my way to the treadmill and then to the studio to continue to collect rent from those good-for-nothing musicians. Oh wait, I'm a musician.
I think I'll post some more pics tonight of the studio.
Thousand Word Pictures
I inserted a new attraction off to the left. My new mobile picture log. I call it...
Thousand Word Pictures
I think I'll copyright that. Since I got the new phone with the camera, I thought this was a cool idea I saw on Adelle's site. So check it out. I have one pic in there right now with more to come.

Gray, Rainy Day
From what I can see out the window here, it is gray and rainy which means the traffic home is gonna be murder. Wonderful. It's been a slow day. Yes I worked, but not hard. I worked pretty good Monday and Tuesday so I needed a breather from documents and phone calls and meetings. I'm tired of the cold weather now. I want it to warm up. Not August warm, just stay above 55 for an extended amount of time.
I continue to hit the treadmill each evening. I am doing 1 3/4 miles in 30 minutes. So far, after 9 days, I have worked out 7 of those and have accumulated 11 miles. Think I can hit 300 miles by the end of the year?
Hump Day
Yeah, I wish I were humping today...it's cold and damp today. A perfect day for fireplaces and hot chocolate. But here I am, at work, it's lunch time....no one to go to lunch with. I got no friends here. I guess I'll mosey down to the cafeteria and grab something and bring back to my desk and read blogs.
Time for lunch.

News...I think
CLIENT-FOCUSED EXOTIC DANCING
Or as we like to call it, the Lap Dance, is causing problems for the military. Is this really a big enough threat? A new acronym, CFED.
REASON # 997 FOR TIVO
Capture tit shots. Watch and freeze frame the famous breast for hours on end.
THE APOCALYPSE IS ON US, YOU'VE BEEN SERVED
When this movie takes #1 at the box office, you know the world is fucked. Is this a movie about court orders? Or tennis?
Tuesday...1 step closer to Friday
I continued with my workout plans last night by getting on the treadmill and doing 1 3/4 miles, walking and running. I think this is getting to be a habit...which is good. I want it to become routine.
This morning I decided to try an alternate and free (no tolls) route to work. Big mistake. It added an extra 12-15 minutes to the trip and an extra dose of driver frustration. One bitch in particular on her cell phone driving 5 miles under the limit. I couldn't get around her because there was a dump truck pulling a trailer to my left and a car on my ass behind me. I was boxed in and calling this fuck head every name in the book. Frickin' tnuC. Arrrgh!
On a positive note, I got a new cell phone. The boss let me replace my old phone with a new T610. It's got a camera and lots of cool sounds. I already loaded Gene spitting blood (the pic to the left here) as my wallpaper. And it is syncable with MS Outlook so I got my schedule and to do list and contacts. Cool eh?

B.S.I.
after further review of still photos and instant replay, I can say with authority that the Janet Jackson boob incident was intentional and provided for shock value.
Ozone Ferd, B.S.I. (Boob Scene Investigator).
Week End Review
Here is my 12 steps to Weekend Recovery:
1. Friday night was a wash, sat around the studio watching TV. Anyone want to go party next Friday?
2. I didn't work out Friday but did 1.5 miles on Saturday morning.
3. Saturday recording involved beats, 3 singers and religion. I recorded a religious rap/R&B; group. More R&B; than rap.
4. They got into arguments about the music and mistakes.
5. I would classify only one of them a singer.
6. They were there with a record company President/Producer who I have worked with before. An independant Christian record company.
7. I think she was seeing how they sounded before making a commitment.
8. Sunday was jam day rather than watch the first half of the Superbowl. I didn't work out.
9. It was a good time but I smoked way too much. But I can still sing Rush for the most part.
10. The second half of the Superbowl was good. Down to the last 8 seconds is better than a blowout after 2 quarters.
11. I missed the Janet Jackson boob. What a shitty half time show...except for Kid Rock.
12. It's rent time at the studio, that means coercing money from musicians. It's like squeezing blood from a rock.
Comments to 80s Pic
Ok, I guess I should explain the photo of me, circa 1988.
I had just come back from 5 weeks in Sweden so I had lost alot of weight from walking around over there. The gloves are from my motorcycle riding days. At the time I still had my Magna 750 (hey I should post a pic). I loved that bike but my dream is a Harley, or an OCC chopper. The skinny tie? What the fuck was I thinking? I look like a member of The Cars.
Anyway, I thought I was hot shit in my black jeans, long coat and tough guy gloves. I think I was on my way out to a friend's bachelor party at a local topless bar. I do remember leaning against the wall in the topless bar and getting a "stand up" lap dance. The coat came in handy for concealing where my hands were being placed. heh heh. I'm a sleaze, I admit it.
Anyway #2, I think I'm gonna grow my hair back out and work on squeezing into those black jeans again. Still have the coat, the gloves are gone though and I got rid of all the skinny ties. But I'm still the same loveable sleaze.
Ahh, those were the days......

Southern Boy
From Adelle, here is my visited/lived state map. Visited means I actually spent the night. As you can tell, I'm Southern by the grace of God.

Health Kick - Day 4
Day 4, yesterday, and I completed another 1.7 miles and did a circuit of upper body weight machines. Yes, I am a little sore. But it's a good soreness.
Since I am working down in another building without a gym this afternoon, the odds of me doing the treadmill tonight are slim. I do have a treadmill at home, but if a Happy Hour calls.....
Damn I need a smoke. Just the word "Friday" can make me start craving a stress release.
Have a great weekend.
Adelle Day Friday Five
You have just won one million dollars:
1. Who do you call first?
The wife, then the boss to tell him I'm outta here.
2. What is the first thing you buy for yourself?
Strictly for myself? Either a Harley or a Hummer H2. No wait, new Les Paul guitar and Mesa Boogie stack. No wait, ....
3. What is the first thing you buy for someone else?
Buy the wife whatever car she wants and buy the kids whatever they want.
4. Do you give any away? If yes, to whom?
of course, I would give some away to family and friends first, then help the needy.
5. Do you invest any? If so, how?
I am a little gun shy investing these days. I am still waiting for my stock to break even again so I can dump it and get out of the market. I would invest in my recording studio business. Bring it up to par with some of the more expensive studios and hire a staff. I would invest in some local bands, help them move their career's along.
Dude, You coulda had A DELLE
It's finally here, it's ADELLE'S Birthday. I think she's like Thirty-something or such. Hop on over and wish her a Happy Birthday.
We are having lunch today at her new favorite restaurant, Babe's Chicken House. A great place for chicken fried steak, a Texas staple.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DELLI!!!

SWEDES HAVE MORE AND MORE ANIMAL SEX
I'm speechless by this news article. I work for the Viking Boat, a Swedish company. Could one of my co-workers be a doggy do-er? Watch out next time a Swedish friend brags about going home and getting some pussy.
GO BEFORE YOU GO
That's the slogan under consideration for a new campaign in Minneapolis to combat public urination. Apparently bar patrons leave bars and piss in the streets. What happen to "Don't drink and drive"?
ARMY DEPLOYED TO RESCUE BEER
Now this is a positive story. It's all about the beer.
Health Kick - Day 3
Last night I continued my health kick with another 1.5 miles of walking/running within a 30 minute time period. So what is that? 4.5 miles completed thus far. Am I healthier after 3 days? I think so.
I did have some smokes last night. That continues to be a habit tough to get away from. I think the best solution is to stay away from the studio unless absolutely necessary. When we spent 7 days in Colorado skiing I had no problems or cravings for cigs. It's that damn studio!
If things go as planned, I will have completed 10.5 miles the first week. At this rate I should be able to complete at least 500 miles. Should I set such a lofty goal? I need one of those United Way thermometer things that tracks donations. I could track my miles. Anyone know how I could add that to the blog?

News of the Day
PITCHER SEEKS FORGIVENESS FOR PORN TAPE
Indians minor leaguer Kazuhito Tadano is asking for forgiveness for what he called a one-time mistake — his appearance in a gay porn video in which he engaged in a homosexual act.
KT goes on to say he did participate in the video but, "I'm not gay. I'd like to clear that fact up right now."
What the?!? He couldn't find a straight pron to appear in? I'm not gay, my ass!
GIRL SEES BROKEN BONES
How about this one? I got a bone she can look at. Why is it always some Russian or obscure Chinese that have these powers?
SPERM WHALE EXPLODES
Gross. Sperm all over the place!
Health Kick - Day 2
I again headed to the gym after work and again walk/ran 1.5 miles (30 minutes). However, I had pizza later that night with a couple of regular Mountain Dews and about 6 cigarettes.
On the plus side, my body is reacting well to the shock of muscles moving. I am not extremely sore or in pain. My posture is improving and being on the tread mill in front of a TV showing CNN, I am able to catch up on the news.
I am not concentrating on weight loss, but more on my general well-being. I know when the exercise is working cause my attitude and mood are much more bright and upbeat. My energy level rises. I just know I am feeling good. Hard to describe that feeling.
So this exercise thing will continue. It really comes down to a repetition. I am a very repetitive/habitual person. I have my routines for morning and before I go to bed. The trick is getting this exercise stuff ingrained into my existing routines. What better time to start than after a move to a new building.
So day 2 is complete and day 3's workout is 5 hours away.
