First off, for all those Spike/Fred fans who also enjoy a little Spike/Illyria, I'd like to extend an invitation to you all to check out [info]spillyria.

Second, since I'd feel cheap for not including some Spred in this post, I present a series of random Spike/Fred drabbles, some of which were written for [info]open_on_sunday and some of which are just my own. Basically just friendshippy snippets over time set mostly during Spike's ghost period. Nothing rated higher than the show itself:

Notes: Another in my Spike and Fred series. Takes place before the kiss in my "Finally" drabble.


Spike jammed his hands into his duster pockets and approached the lab. Okay. He was going to do it this time. Really. He stopped outside the door and took a deep, unneeded breath. Squaring his shoulders, he walked in.

Skittishly, he approached the question crabwise. "Hullo, pet. There's this place, and they've got this band, and food..." He almost cringed, anticipating being shot down.

Fred ducked her head and smiled at him. "Are you asking me out?" She seemed a bit skittish herself.

"Well...yeah."

His heart nearly leaped from his chest when she said, "Pick me up at seven?"

I'm a bit nervous here, so forgive me. :-)

I just started posting a newly completed Spike/Fred fic at my journal. It's titled "Making Memories" and takes off just after Destiny in Angel S5. It's PG-13 and mostly fluff with some minor angst later on. So if you're interested in reading it, you can find part 1 here. It'll be eight parts in all and I'll post 1 a day (maybe more).

Any feedback is appreciated.

Er, yeah. I've been skulking for a while and finally have something to post. So, hi, all! *waves* Anyway, I've got a new Spike/Fred ficlet up set between 'Hellbound' and 'Destiny'. It's NC17, so be warned, kiddies!

Phantom Liaison - Spike's finally found himself the perfect lover in Fred...if only he could touch her. But, as she shows him one night, maybe he doesn't need to. Fluffy Spike/Fred PWP. *COMPLETED, May 2004* NC17

So, yeah, there's that. It's the first strictly Spike/Fred fic I've written, although I did write one with definite Spike/Fred themes called And A Happy New Year (also NC17, beware) a while back.

Also, what is this group's policy on Spike/Illyria stuff? Should that be posted here or no? (Since I know some Spike/Fred people won't be Spike/Illyria.) Anyway, I won't post anything directly until I know, but if anyone wants to check out all the Spike/Illyria fics I've written, they can all be found here. Everything's rated and labeled.

So, yeah. *waves again* Hope to have more Spike/Fred out soon.

Hi! I was directed here by [info]kats_meow (many thanks!). And I'm glad to find a place where the Spike/Fred shipper in me can have free rein. :-)

I have several fics involving Spike and Fred up on FFN:
"Kitten Poker with a Physicist"--silly fluffy thing written in response to a challenge at [info]churchofspike.

"The Vampire and the Scientist"--drabble series. Hey, they're short!

"Indispensable, Exquisite Cats"--kind of a dark fic, also written to a challenge (I do a lot of those) at [info]churchofspike.

Reviews and concrit are more than welcome. And I'm looking forward to reading everyone else's fics too.
