TPJ, Watchdog Groups Call for Special Prosecutor in DeLay Probe
Jul 15, 2004 - Three Texas campaign reform groups-Campaigns for People, Public Citizen/Texas and Texans for Public Justice--today joined the growing call for the House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct (commonly referred to as the Ethics Committee) to appoint an independent, non-partisan, outside counsel to lead the investigation into ethical charges pending against House Majority Leader Tom DeLay.

May 17, 2004 - A new report by Texans for Public Justice (updated on June 2, 2004) — Payola Pioneering: Exposing the Bush Pioneer/Ranger Network —is now available. The report details the economic interests behind the elite Bush donors and looks at federal appointments, government policies, federal contracts and other perks these big donors received.

TPJ Report Details $31 Million in Texas Pols War Chests
Feb 09, 2004 - A new law requires Texas politicians to disclose how much campaign cash they have in the bank. Texas legislators reported campaign stockpiles of over $21 million. Statewide officers have an additional $10 million in their war chests, according to a new TPJ analysis of "cash on hand".
