Portsmouth, Va., Aug. 11--With the approach of Tropical Storms Bonnie and Charley to the coast of Florida, mariners are strongly urged to closely monitor their progress by all means available and take early action to protect their vessels.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Aug. 11--With three fatal boating related accidents occuring over the last two weeks in Northeast Florida, the Coast Guard is urging boaters, and the general public, to boat safe and to wear their life jackets when transiting the busy waterways.
