Training for Success
How do we keep our soldiers alive?
The answer is TRAINING.
Effective training is as realistic as possible so that soldiers can learn, through experience, how to deal with the threats they face in operational areas. Experience is, after all, the best teacher.
I've just returned from my Annual Training, one of the best of my carreer. I was honored to serve on a training committee that is providing the highest quality of training to our soldiers, based on actual experience of the committee officers and NCOs in charge.
Though I was acting as a trainer, I also learned a great deal. These people are a wealth of experience. They are providing our soldiers with the tools they need to succeed in their missions.
Jeff Quinton is looking for bloggers who have served in the military.
I'm no great shakes as a blogger but quantity or quality of output is not an issue here, so I qualify.
