On behalf of the soldiers of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), we wish to thank the many, many people the world over who send Pizza, Burgers and a variety of other treats. We would also like to wish all our friends and supporters around the world a happy, healthy, successful, and above all peaceful, New Year.

We recently received this letter -- we believe it summarizes what your contributions have achieved over the last couple of years.

In these troubled times, friends of Israel around the world are looking for tangible ways to share their feelings with our soldiers and also to support the Israeli economy. From this site you can send Pizza and Soda^* and now in honor of the New Year, chocolates and honey, to active duty soldiers who, day after day, are fighting terror and protecting the Jewish people.

Our deliveries include soldiers on regular military service as well as those who have left their families, homes and jobs to serve the Jewish people as Miluim (Reserve Duty) fighters. Your pizza reaches soldiers in tension-filled Gaza and other volatile locations.

Over the last two years we have delivered many thousands of pizza pies to thousands of soldiers. It is hard to describe how happy they are to receive your "special treats" -- it goes well beyond getting a hot pizza late at night at a lonely post. It is as tremendous an experience for us to give them out as it is for the soldiers to receive them. They love to know that people everywhere support and care for them.

In honor of Rosh haShana, the Jewish New Year, we are again giving you the opportunity to write a letter to the families of our soldiers. With these messages, we will send a beautiful presentation package of Honey, Chocolate and Traditional Honey Cake, the blessing for a sweet New Year. We will give these to soldiers to take home with them to their families for Rosh haShana.

We have prepared a certificate you can download, print and send to your friends to tell them that you have sent Honey & Chocolates to our soldiers and their families in their honor for Rosh haShana.

We will include, if you wish, your personal message of support and gratitude to our soldiers and their families. Have a look at a selection of messages that have been written -- and also some pictures drawn by children for the soldiers -- we are sure you will be as inspired as we are! As a result of the Arab terror campaign, there is a greatly reduced level of tourism to Israel. Your gifts help support many people here in Israel. The fourteen pizzerias and eateries we use are very grateful for the business that our project provides. As we are taught, the highest form of charity is to give someone the opportunity to earn an honest living.

These are delivered, on your behalf, to soldiers out in the field: jeep and foot patrols, roadblocks, army bases and on guard duty.
