Peter Savodnik covers campaigns for The Hill. Prior to moving to Washington, he covered local and state politics for The Daily Progress, in Charlottesville, Va., The Vineyard Gazette and The Forward. His byline has appeared in The Washington Times, The Washington Monthly, The Wall Street Journal Europe, The Wilson Quarterly, Policy Review, National Review and elsewhere. He graduated from Middlebury College and did his master's at the University of Chicago.
