lots of screaming, kicking, wanting to escape. then silence. then darkness. then a searing, painful, burning light engulfs the room. "stop fucking whinging you oap cunt" she screamed at me, with a voice from which i had to sheild my eyes, that burned my retina, that tightly pressed eyelids couldn't repel. why do we argue like this? which minor deity have i offended this time? and what time does the football start...? neutral colours, random phrases, snippets of invisible and nonexistent conversations, all there as a source of comfort, as a way of gaining attention, as a cry for help. an outlet for bored rambling, frustrated ranting, withering glances, muffled smirks, and subtle messages of condolence. and that was just the teachers.

...dj lix da flex,
People don't always believe me when I say I have things planned. I have been away a while and am most certainly not yet back. Maybe a couple of months. When music is something that can take priority in my bank balance as well as my Very Soul. Ho ho, how achingly arch-. When I am back, though, oh yes, mark my words. Popularity is my goal. In the mean time, I will reply to a few comments that have been left. Feel free to leave more. You may find yourself a place at the right hand of popularity when my time comes. Heh. Currently listening to, nothing new (hear my sigh) just the usual; Magnet, Blak Twang, Bearsuit, PJ Harvey, Arab Strap, Life Without Buildings. And the rest, you know the coouup. Switch!

...her off of,
So. Charlotte Hatherley. Of Ash fame. Chick on guitar. Charlotte, you know her. She has a solo song out, just heard it on MTV2. It's interesting. It doesn't seem to have anything like the infectious melody of Ash's more anthemic output but it's not awful, I don't think. I. I. I just can't tell. It's very bubblegum, pop wise, but in a sort of kitch way that could either be good (like Little Miss Trinitron) or bad (like Shampoo, but without the benefit of rose tinted spectacles to allow us to forgive it). Her song is called Summer and I have no current opinion on it. Anyone help me out? Oh, and she doesn't look as good in most of her photographs (and therefore one would assume In Real Life) as she does in the photo linked to above and the video. Which ends that mystery.

...almost not dead,
How do chunky girls get such attention? You hear about the number of men they have to fend off and then you look at them and the two figures don't correlate. Do you see what I mean? I fancy doing something tonight. I'm half planning on going somewhere secluded but with street lights, taking a walkman and throwing shapes to the precipitous beat of a dozen custom designed raindrops. Nothing but the best. I hear it's free to get in but murder to find. Still no new music. I've been kinda neglecting everything recently. I need to do some designs. If anyone has a paid account and would like me to do a journal design for them drop me a hint at the usual address (i.e. comment on one of my entries) and I'll let Macromedia Flash's Journal Design Wizard do the talking. Life just got really weird. Did anyone else notice that? Is there a door open somewhere or something?

...they luv her,
Uwf that. To quote the relatively random hip hop decision to bring deleted explitives into every day language. Anyway, yeah, just downloaded Shystie's I Luv U. Hah. It's quite funny but my favourite part - as, to be honest, was my favourite part of the original - is the little dialogue. Although Dizzee's went both ways male and female disowning someone, Shystie sticks with her original thought of just putting down men all the way through. The second dialogue, then, goes blud that's your girl / nah it wouldn't be my girl / i swear that's your girl / nah that couldn't be my girl / you spent ten grand! / ah damn / you put a ring on her hand / aaah daamn. Heheh. I had to chuckle. That guy sounded genuinely disappointed at his loss. Heh.
