I always figured that the worst name in the world would be “Hitler Tampon,” but imagine being this poor bastard.

Days before the Democratic National Convention, a Storm Lake, Iowa, farmer is suddenly famous.

Kerry Dean Edwards, 27, finds his name is bringing a lot of attention now that Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry named John Edwards his running mate in the upcoming election.

“I guess I’ve seen (the names) around town on signs, but I never even thought about it,” Edwards said.

But the irony of the name is that Edwards plans to vote for President George W. Bush and Dick Cheney.

“I guess if Bush/Cheney called me up and said, ‘We want to do a campaign stop at your farm,’ I’d probably say, ‘Bring it on,’” Edwards said.

Let’s hope he can YEEEEAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHH with the best of them.

Even Mother Nature has a sense of humor.

Blake Champlin, a Tulsa lawyer and environmental activist, died Monday at his home when a tree supporting a hammock fell and crushed him.

Champlin, 45, died instantly, said Gerald Hilsher, an attorney with Shipley & Kellogg, Champlin’s former law firm.

Perhaps they could saw the tree down to make his coffin.

Okay guys, in the “I’d hit it” department, The American Mind wants to know which sets of political daughters are hotter, the Bush twins or the Kerry sisters?  While Kerry’s girls are definitely pieces of ass, I’d have to go with the Bush girls overall.  Especially Jenna, she is so immensely doable.

You know who had some hot daughters?  Al Gore.  Someone should dig up some pics of them.
