IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Users cannot assign a unique comment to more than one user picture simultaneously. Developers are aware of the issue and working to resolve it. It is not necessary to open a support request about this.
A new version of the Update Journal page has been added to the site. Developers are aware that some users are having difficulty using this page; they are working to fix it as soon as possible. In the meantime, you may wish to use a downloaded client to update your journal. There is no need to open a support request about this problem.
Some users are experiencing delays in new entries appearing on journal pages. LiveJournal administrators are aware of this issue.
LiveJournal HTML security code has recently been updated so that it is now stricter concerning invalid characters and markup in your entries. If you are having a problem concerning an error such as, "irreparable invalid markup in entry" please read the FAQ concerning this problem for more information before opening a support request.
Many Internet Service Providers are blocking LiveJournal comment email as "spam". If you are not receiving your comment emails, please see Where are my comment notification emails? for further information, and then contact your email provider.
If you are opening a Support request regarding your journal or friends page not appearing to update properly, please clear your browser cache before opening a request and see if that resolves the problem.
Logging in as a community has been permanently disabled. All community maintenance that once required logging in as a community can be performed by a maintainer's personal account, as described in the last paragraph here.
