Posting this publically because I feel it needs to be shared. As I heard a former ambassador from the US to Iraq say last night. Hate the war. Be angry at the government but please don't take it out on our military. This was posted at a site I frequent quite regularly. Michael and I are planning on doing this. These are the exact words of the original poster: Even if you are not able to be overseas and are confined “stateside”, you can STILL have a valued part and role in the Operation to FREE IRAQ. SUPPORT THE SOLDIERS!! There are hundreds of thousands of men and women overseas right now risking their lives, they are away from home and family and out of touch. Take a moment out of your day to put together a "CARE PACKAGE" (it can’t be anything bigger than a shoe box), send them thank you letters and Cards. When putting together a “Care Package”, send little things like gum, games or a deck of cards, baby wipes to clean themselves, Kool-aid, chapstick, a roll of toilet paper, a can of Turkey SPAM (it can not be Pork), crackers, any food that won’t spoil during shipping. Remember, it can only be as big as a shoebox. Give enough so they can also share with others in their Unit AND send thank you notes!! You wouldn’t believe how much it makes a difference, I still have a letter that I received from an 8 year old boy in Noodle, Texas (believe it or not, there is a place called Noodle in Texas and got to visit it and Alexander when I got back Stateside). Don’t just sit there in front of CNN watching this take place, do your part to help and take a moment out of your day (do it while watching CNN if you must) to let these people know you care and support them. It makes a world of a difference. Contact your local ANG or Recruiter's office and they will provide to you a listing of individuals and Units in service and help you in this endeavor.

http://www.mediaevalbaebes.com/I saw these beauties at the Maryland Ren Faire yesterday. They are just incredible... and they are indeed babes. Beauty AND talent is such a rare combination these days. I was impressed enough to purchase one of their CDs and they were nice enough to all sign it. Here's what the ren fest page had to say about them: Setting mediaeval poems to their original musical compositions, the Baebes’ sound is captivating. Their first album, Salva Nos, was the fastest selling debut album on Virgin’s classical label ‘Venture’. Their second album, Worldes Blysse went straight to the top of the British classical charts. Their newest release, The Rose, is their most ambitious work to date. The rose is a mediaeval symbol of love, and the themes of love can be found in the album - pure, passionate, fulfilling and devastating. The Baebes will be with us for two weekends only - they are provocative, witty, and yes, they are babes. Having listened to The Rose last night, I have to say what they wrote is true. These Baebes are well worth listening to.

Mars in Pisces The key to your sex appeal lies in your astrological chart. Reflecting the position of planet Mars at the time of your birth, your Mars Sign can be different from your Sun Sign. For example, a Taurus can have Mars in Gemini. Learn what it is that makes you sexy and fuels your passion! Women with Mars in Pisces have a highly active fantasy life, and this can make for some highly interesting encounters in the boudoir. Many women with this Mars placement are artistic, and with few exceptions, they can hardly resist anyone dedicated to expressing truth or beauty. In short, this gal can be a sucker for the bass player. Mars in Pisces brings a sweet veil of romance to love making. Like Leo, she enjoys sharing role play fantasies with her partner. Through physical intimacy she can whip up a dreamlike state in which time and circumstances appears to be suspended, and nothing else exists but the lovers, their sensations, and soft sounds of their motions in the dark. Love and intimacy can reach euphoric peaks of pleasure that provide a welcome escape from the harsh demands of daily life. This is the great joy of Mars in Pisces, but it can also be a danger. The Mars-in-Pisces woman can mistake great sex for love, and such a misunderstanding can prime her for disappointment when the dream cycle is over and hard reality sets in. With maturity, the Mars-in-Pisces woman learns to be more discriminating about sharing her powers of sensual transport. By reserving her gifts for a lover she can trust, she assures herself a reliable touchstone for her dreamy departures. Famous Women with Mars in Pisces: Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, Debbie Reynolds, Lynn Redgrave, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Jane Fonda

No, I did not write these... You never feed me. Perhaps I'll sleep on your face. That will sure show you. You must scratch me there! Yes, above my tail! Behold, elevator butt. The rule for today: Touch my tail, I shred your hand. New rule tomorrow. I need a new toy. Tail of black dog keeps good time. Pounce! Good dog! Good dog! In deep sleep hear sound. Cat vomit hairball somewhere. Will find in morning. Grace personified. I leap into the window. I meant to do that. Blur of motion, then silence. Me, a paper bag. What is so funny? The mighty hunter returns with gifts of plump birds --- your foot just squashed one. You're always typing. Well, let's see you ignore my sitting on your hands. My small cardboard box. You cannot see me if I can just hide my head. Terrible battle. I fought for hours. Come and see! What's a 'term paper'? Kitty likes plastic. Confuses for litter box. Don't leave tarp around... Small brave carnivores Kill pine cones and mosquitoes, Fear vacuum cleaner. I want to be close to you. Can I fit my head inside your armpit? Wanna go outside. Oh, damn! Help! I got outside! Let me back inside! Oh no! Big One has been trapped by newspaper! Cat to the rescue! Humans are so strange. Mine lies still in bed, then screams. My claws are not that sharp. Cats meow out of angst. Thumbs! If only we had thumbs! We could break so much! The Big Ones snore now. Every room is dark and cold. Time for "Cup Hockey". Litter box not here. You must have moved it again. I'll poop in the sink. We're almost equals. I purr to show I love you. Want to smell my butt?

Rules For Surviving A Horror Movie 1. When it appears that you have killed the monster, never check to see if it's really dead. 2. Never read a book of demon summoning aloud, even as a joke. 3. Do not search the basement, especially if the power has just gone out. 4. Never accept invitations from strangers, especially individuals who inexplicably live in isolated areas and have no contact with society. 5. As a general rule, don't solve puzzles that open portals to Hell. 6. If you're searching for the cause of a noise and find out that it's not just the cat, leave the room immediately if you value your life. 7. If appliances start operating by themselves, move out. 8. No sex, beer or partying! Any of these activities will surely seal your fate. 9. If you find a town that is deserted, it's probably for a reason. Take the hint and stay away. 10. Don't fool with recombinant DNA technology unless you're sure you know what you're doing. 11. Stay away from certain geographical locations, some of which are listed here: Amityville, Elm Street, Transylvania, Nilbog, the Bermuda Triangle, or any small town in Maine. 12. If your car runs out of gas at night, do not go to the nearby deserted-looking house to phone for help. 13. Beware of strangers bearing tools such as chain saws, staple guns, hedge trimmers, electric carving knives, combines, lawnmowers, butane torches, soldering irons, band saws, or any device made from deceased companions. I wish I could take credit for writing these...
