this last week i havent felt good so i have just layed around, and on tuesday and wednesday i felt totally crazy and realized my paxil is not working too great anymore. i found out that burnout period is 6-12 months though so that makes sense. i have an appointment tomorrow and hopefully will get it all straightend out so i can feel normal. thursday nicole came over which i was happy about. we ordered pizza and took photos for my xmas card, and then for her photo shoot. here are a few of the pics:     im going to record a couple christmas songs tomorrow night if my nose is a little less stuffed up, and then get to the real stuff next week. poor baron, my love has pnemonia. he is at the doc right now making sure he doesnt have tb :/ |

my guitar is sitting next to me. i picked it up and played the last few songs i wrote and was happy. i'll be back to recording this week, this time decent tracks that can be added to instead of live stuff for the sake of getting it down. actually here is one i am very proud of even though the recording is rough: :::around us::: hopefully thursday i'll be seeing nicole and doing a photo shoot with her. (well, she will be shooting, i will be...shot). monkey says hi. |

i had a good drive with joe and nicole up to fresno. nice just having open conversations about taboo subjects and feeling a common relief in our agreement. think of me, pray for me, send good vibes my way, make some wishes or whatever voodoo you do for those you love. do that for me. i haven't fallen apart yet. |

friday night was my little sister's ( ![[info]](http://library.vu.edu.pk/cgi-bin/nph-proxy.cgi/000100A/http/web.archive.org/web/20041206111454im_/http:/=2fstat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} bronzemonkey) 18th birthday. i got off work early to get to the house an decorate and get ready. we went with a 1984 theme (not the book, just the general goofy year) since that was when she was born. watched "better off dead" ate pizza. good wholesome fun. afterwards we were supposed to go to a club her friends go to, but after getting some bad vibes we decided it would be much better to go to clockwork orange in hollywood where they let "our kind" in. she liked the idea so off we went.i had a great time, because not only was avi actually there but longtime childhood friends who i don't get to see very often. it was so surreal standing on the smoking patio with a drink and a cig (them too) thinking about our old selves and the things we said about who we would be. anyway, at one point i drug mary out on the dance floor because i couldn't stand the thought of her going to her first club without dancin just a little. and as soon as the song ended, on came the smiths and then the cure, so she kept dancing...yay. here is a pic of me and my older brother, at the house earlier, providing the live entertainment.  saturday i went with vinny, nicole and my dad to see spiderman again. then home where avi and ron wanted to see it. i was going to see it again but decided to see duces wild instead. i don't remember what it was about because there were too many beautiful men on the screen at one time. something about knives or something. (just kidding. it was alright.) sunday i stayed home and slept in, which i needed. i have been so worn out lately without too much activity. i slept till noon. the rest of the day i spent in the studio until the gang came home from fresno. and here we are. |

twinfusion, beetleginny, and zeromonk on friday night. we preordered the tickets, ehich was a good move since they were sold out when we got there an hour before the show. we waited in line but were not too far back and nicole kept us amused with unbelievaby details descriptions of the innerworkings of her bowels. i had a lot of fun.the movie i loved. i don't know what some people are expecting from the movie. its spider man. and i loved tobey mcguire as the science geek peter parker. im so glad they didnt try and make him hip. william dafoe is the best villan ever and i think he was born for that part. which makes him, as jesus, even creepier now. last night after spending the day in the studio nicole and ginny were nice enought o let me come to dinner with them. i was sad after a day alone and being frustrated with music. we got mexican food and i got a call i was waiting for, so after that we came home and i got ready to go out. i am glad i did, as i got to see some cool people i met earlier and meet a couple new people. i was good and did my drinkin early in the evening so that when i left at three, i was sleepy but otherwise fine to drive. so today i am going to try and sneak in a little more time in the studio, and i also have a side job i need to work on. bangs or no bangs, that is the question. what a complicated life ;D |

i had fun on friday which i am sure contributed to my current condition. but it was nice for a little bit to feel normal. the live hedwig was great and was definitely worth it. can't wait till next month for nicoleeees birthday extravaganza. sean, you up for some live hedwig action? :D i have been in the studio for a few hours but gotten nothing done. i should have had a drink because it would have enabled me to make something worth listening to, but for the moment im trying to be responsible. at least ive gotten down the five songs i want for the demo and should have time this weekend to work on it. i need to go lay down, but i love you all and sorry to anyone i owe email to. here are some pics for your viewing pleasure:  doing our best to be trashy (note the zima) ( more pics for your viewing pleasure: ) |

somebody send me a text message. something to do with monkeys. i miss the people in my house who i havent gotten to see much this week. thankfully tomorrow night is the live hedwig showing, and we are all going to glam it up and rock out together. weeeeeeeeeeeeeee. joe, oh joe, the things that await you in glitter. my parents and nana and papa (grandparents) are coming over this weekend. my nana and papa have never seen our house so now that it is fixed up it is about time. i hope the bar and liquor posters (1920s, french type) don't bother them too much (not worried about my parents, they are fine), but there is only so much you can do. we already took down offensive postcards from the fridge and try and keep anything indian/hindu on the downlow. but we can't really take down icons or altars. me and avi went out last night and went to a little italian place near our house. the food wasn't the best in the world but then an old italian lady asked if we liked everything and if it was our first time. she told us she would get us some desert and came back with tiramisu which was very very good. hopefully i am going to record a couple more songs tonight. |

so i am very happy this morning and deciding that i will give it 100% of my effort. in the plans for moving to fresno i had planned to work on my music a lot, but also on a few other internal projects and maybe get back to painting and such, but i have decided i should use all the time i have now and put it into music. i will still be writing because i really love it and think it is a great way to make a living, but i will put my part-time self into that and full-time into the music. i have never let myself do that though i have always wanted to. i dont like programming. i dont like html. i dont even really like designing very much. i dont hate it and i am greatful for the fact that i have a job, but i am not going to do it anymore. the day our house closes escrow will hopefully be my last day of work with computers. i have always been so careful. so planned out. i graduated highschool early only to get a computer job that i would use as a back-up if my music didnt work out. of course i spent a few hours of week on music and 12 on work. repeat at several jobs till now. why didn't someone shake me and say "dont be careful!" dreams with back-up plans arent dreams and you end up living your back-up plan. |

i have some lovely mp3s up for your listening (dis?)pleasure first, the san francisco song, which lots have heard but some couldnt because they couldnt listen to realaudio...so here it is san francisco: it has bad drum tracks. this is an early version but i still havent done one i like better. ashes: just me and my guitar. i really like this one though, and hope to develop it soon. there without: the begining an oldie (of mine) that i am redoing. add a triphop beat in your mind and you'l get the picture. |

good news is that we got the prequalification for the house so escrow is in motion and we are that much closer to actually owning the building. tonight we will have pizza and wine and maybe godfather 3. because you have to see it once, and some people in our house still havent. our house is on the market now so if you want it, you can buy it. i need a typewriter. slashandburn mentioned it yesterday and it's something i have been thinking about. i like the computer but there is something so warm about the click-clack and zing of a real typewriter. mainly its just more romantic or real, and it makes it seem like i care or have some principal im holding too...but i like the noises.so, my good friend is getting married, sean is coming to visit me, i get to see RENT on friday, we are buying a mansion and starting a coffee shop which will enable me to quit my computer job and actually live. this is a very very good month. so thank you friends, God, theotokos, saint nicholas, saint gregorios, and whoever else might be responsible. holy bannanas for you. :b |
