Various things of the day: - been studying for my AI test... tuesday I'm taking it YET AGAIN!!! I'm gonna go nuts if I don't make it this time - Last episode of the second season of Once And Again just ended... it ended in such a sweet way... even though so much is hanging in the air... with Evan Rachel Wood's rendition of When The Red, Red Robin... that is just so beautiful and was used in the promos for this show for months now... everything seemed so calm for a minute. When the red red robin comes Bob bob bobbing along, along There'll be no more sobbing When he starts throbbing His old sweet song. Wake up, wake up, you sleepy head. Get up, get up, get out of bed. Cheer up, cheer up, the sun is red. Live, love, laugh, and be happy. What if I've been blue? Now I'm walking through fields of flowers. Rain may glisten but still I listen For hours and hours. I'm just a kid again, Doing what I did again, Singing a song, When the red red robin comes Bob bob bobbing along. It is hands down the best family drama ever... well at least of those I've seen or heard of... Beats even Providence... and of course it figures that it gets cancelled after three seasons... well unfortunately our TV decided not to continue into the 3rd... so no more OAA for awhile. - Yesterday my parents had their 25th wedding anniversary dinner-party. There were many nice people but the worst muzik... and thus I refrained from dancing... it's the principle of the thing. To me to start dancing to that I had to have my own friends going nuts and fooling around... our would have to be totally drunk... but nobody close to my age (apart from my sister) was there... and I don't drink... soooo... I just sat, laughed and took pictures. As a present to my parents I wrote a song and me and my sister performed it... it went horrible... I was so nervous... even my sister was nervous and she basically never gets nervous (she's like a natural performer - and can sing in front of huge crowds without a problem)... cause we were so not prepeared and my sister made me change the key of the song to fit her voice better... and I just couldn't get used to it... it was pretty awful... but nobody cared... cause what was important was in the lyrics and those came out right... and people loved it... and my parents loved it... well at least my mom... dad didn't say (that I know of) anything. But I heard him laugh during... and he loves to listen to our songs... so I'm pretty sure he was as pleased. In all that panic and excitement I completely forgot about Dawson's Creek... and I didn't tape the show... by some bizarre stroke of luck... that is like one of three episodes from the 4th season that can be found on-line... so I already had it downloaded and was able to watch it... but I don't have it on VHS like all previous episodes... DAMN... *hoping for reruns soon* - On Friday I watched the Secrets And Loans episode of Gilmore Girls in ITALIAN. I was flipping through the channels and on Canale 5, I saw the show and watched. It just so happened that I watched that particular episode just a couple of days before so I basically knew everything... so as I speek about 10 words of italian... I just listened for any words that could come up in the contest that I know. It was interesting... I haven't watched anything non-sport related in Italian since like I... *joey voice* was what... EIGHT?... when I watch cartoons... they had interesting anime back then. But that's understandable since GG has (thaks to the internet) instantly become one of my favorite shows of all time and since none of TV channels I watch have yet decided to air that show I take whatever I can get! :) Well by the end of the week I'll have seen all the episodes that have aired in the US so far... and on September 24th (I think) 3rd season starts! Wee heeeeeeeee... I'm so madly in love with Loerlais. - Oh another thing i found out today concerning Gilmore Girls... CD with the music from the show is coming out as well... lots of cool songs... Can't wait! - GN'R kicked ass on MTV VMAs... that new song, Madagascar, they did, shows plenty promise for Chinese Democracy... but Axel says that the album ain't gonna be released soon... so that's kinda cruel to tease like that... plus they will be starting a huge USA tour... first in like 10 years... so even less time for recording... bla... - U2's new song is hitting the radios... yaaaaay... video is already shot as well... I. Has the whole world gone deaf Could it be the hearing aid went dead Wouldn't know a symphony from a chair Don't they know that excellence is right here 'Cause I know that I am worth it Seated in expensive chairs, with millionaires and stuff 'Cause I know that I'm worth it |

the lyrics of your song: 1, 2, 1, 2... know a man, his face seems pulled and tense like he's riding on a motorbike in the strongest winds so i approach with tact suggest that he should relax but he's always moving much too fast said he'll see me on the flipside on this trip he's taken for a ride he's been taking too much on there he goes with his perfectly unkept clothes there he goes... he's yet to come back but i've seen his picture it doesn't look the same up on the rack we go way back i wonder about his insides its like his thoughts are too big for his size he's been taken... where, i don't know? off he goes with his perfectly unkept hope and there he goes... and now i rub my eyes, for he has returned seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned for he still smiles... and he's still strong nothing's changed, but the surrounding bullshit that has grown and now he's home and we're laughing like we always did my same old, same old friend until a quarter-to-ten i saw the strain creep in he seems distracted and i know just what is gonna happen next before his first step he's off again |

Watched Message In A Bottle this evening. For the first time since it was in the movies. And I didn't remember virtually anything. Which is good, cause it is almost like watching it for the first time. But you should think one would remember how it ends. But no. And seeing that it is definitely not a happy ending... just beat me up the head hard with a bat. I really thought this ended well... and I wasn't ready for the bad... and it depressed me. It's not that I'm looking for a happy ending in a movie... it's just that I was really in the mood for one today. *sigh* So after it was over I just couldn't do anything else... so I randomly browsed through my mp3s on my HD... and I picked a few beautiful songs for me to revel in my loneliness... and well... here's the list... not in the way they were played but rather in which they were picked... Lucy Kaplansky - Just You Tonight Loni Rose - All I Want Chantal Kreviazuk - Green Apples Ginny Owens - If You Want Me To Fisher - I Will Love You (Forever And A Day) David Gray - This Year's Love Mary Lou Lord - Subway Blues Traveler - Look Around The Get Up Kids - I'll Catch You Lisa Loeb & Nine Stories - Sandalwood [Full Band Version] Verve Pipe - Freshmen Bruce Springsteen - Secret Garden Lennon - Asking You Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles Djordje Balasevic - Bezdan Djordje Balasevic - Remorker Shawn Mullins - Anchored In You Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm Mary Lou Lord - Two Boats Toad The Wet Sprocket - Windmills Toad The Wet Sprocket - Crowing Coldplay - Trouble Marie Frank - Symptom Of My Time I. |

If you wonder what people dream about at 2pm. Well I just dreamt of listening to some mystery Tinkara Kovac song (that at the time seemed familiar to me)... and I loved it, but then there were some extra lyrics that were so cool... but i couldn't find them anywhere... so as I was looking I ran into something very interesting. I saw Utopia written... and it was in letters and design that you was similar to what you can see at Alanis Morissette web site... so I think that I found her new single! :) And there were two unreleased bonus tracks... #3 "Lennie" and #2 "Nessie" in the order I read them :) It's highly unlikely that she wrote two songs with those names, but I'm not sure if second single from Under Rug Swept was announced yet, which means that Utopia could still be it... and it would be a nice choice... although I hope That Particular Time sees the light of day by lots of airplay. This is actually the second time I can think of that I dreamt about Alanis. The first time was just before Uninvited came out. I dreamt that she has a new video out. She had a "crazy" hairdo and the song was called something like "I3O IN RIO". Well the song title up to today doesn't ring a bell... Uninvited didn't have a video as far as I know... well I have never seen it... but that hairdo... if you open Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie CD (that was released later that year - 1998) booklet, you'll see that hair! :) I. I want you But I want you to understand I leave you I love you |

Mr. Moon, your inner rock star is Chris Isaak! Oooh, you're smooth! The rock star part of you is all charm, and all Chris Isaak. That slow smile and sensual nature are absolutely intoxicating, especially to the ladies. They can't get enough of you and that dreamy smile. Maybe it's because you and Chris tap into every girl's fantasy of smooching at the soda shop with James Dean after school. Then again it could also be your perfect balance of cool-guy-about-town and the sensitive boyfriend you could bring home to Mom. Either way, you're a heartthrob who's put style, talent, and innate charm to work for him. Congratulations, you're dreamy. Show off your inner Isaak. |

I don't think there has ever been or will be a more original show than Northern Exposure. It is one of the best ever made. And just watching an episode like I do some of these days on some TV station makes me so nostalagic... old-times-sick... those days where we couldn't wait to catch a new episode, but were too young at 13 to really get how great it is, but you still love it cause it's different from everything else. I think for my generation this show was crucial. You know it started with our teens and it basically showed what kind of person you'll grow up to be. If you totally loved the show, you will become a person who embraces different and unusual or eccentric... as something unique rather than weird, strange and unatractive... those people are also more likely to become like that themselves. I think the only thing that can compete with this was Twin Peaks... but that one was perhaps a little too creapy, to evoke any other memories than those of head-scratching and shivering... but still an awesome show with an ending everybody hated (at least at first). :) It's just that Northern Exposure has so many unique characters, original setting and the wit and warmth like no other... plus there is always something interesting and unusual happening. Imagine a big town person like me and you... in the land where people go to escape from crime, where weather has a big influence on behaviour, where a falling satellite can strike you dead and where everybody knows everything yet nobody feels violeted... except you of course... and so on and so on. There will never be a couple like Maggie and Joel... oh pardon... O'Connell & Fleischman... never again such on-screen chemistry and ability to crack us up... and no matter how good they are for eachother and how necessary it is for them that someone like that exists near by... they will find a way to prove how this can't work and how they hate eachothers guts or should be just friends. Ah..... never again a smiliar radio DJ... never again a crankier rich astronaut... never a better indian film-maker/shaman... never never never... and all in all... in the end... I think that's a good thing... this way all those 110 episodes will be refreshing and fun everytime I watch them... and in 50 years time... I'll be able to say the same thing... to my grandchildren. It's definitely one of the greatest TV legacies of the nineties... and definitely #1 of the first half. Ah... maybe it's just nostalgia talking... but that's how it's been for thousands of years... and it'll never change... the good things will always be remebered as such... and will make us emotional... but that's a good thing! I. |

check it out: http://www.emode.com/eredir?m=112834059&u;=46540 And it's TRUE! :)) ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Hark - the oracle speaks! A bolt of lightning falls from the sky! SHAZAAM! As the smoke clears, the hidden deity in you emerges and is revealed to be: VULCAN, God of Fire. In a world full of philanderers, you are a cherished god. Though you might not be incredibly suave, your irresistible good nature makes you every woman's sweetheart. While all the other guys are stuck in their adolescent ways, you've got a maturity that all women ultimately desire. You present the perfect package to the ladies, with your combination of ingenuity and charm. They call it "marriage material." But let's not forget your erotic side. Between the sheets, you are unmatched. Your passion is like a volcano waiting to erupt. In your hands, a woman is simply a pleasure machine and you are the mechanic. Be careful not to make her overheat when you begin to work your magic! One night with you, and they'll know why you're called a true sex god. |

Bought myself something I'd wanted for such a long time... I just couldn't afford it. A long black coat. Now that I could afford to pay 200+ EUR for it, I couldn't find exactly the kind I wanted - which is the right length - all the way down to my ankles. Apparently I'm too tall for such extravagance... and would have to get it custom made. so instead I got one that is just below my knees... but at least the design is OK and it's warm. So yeah... now I'm almost cool! :) I. Next time I see this face I'll say I choose to live for always So won't you come inside And never go away |

Which we all know is Estranged by GN'R is
So yeah, what does this say about me, anyway? I feel your pain. Your pain and anger is locked up inside your head, and you're gonna pop your cork sooner or later if something doesn't change. You may frequently run through past experiences in your mind, rewriting them, and playing them out the way you think they should be. This takes up the majority of your time, so you rarely ever have a moment in real life. Everything you see and experience is copied in your head, and you play it back like a movie, instead of looking at things right in front of you. But do you even have a choice? The truth is, yes, you do have a choice. You can flit around in your head and shut out the people around you in some catatonic depression, or you can find someone to talk to. Yes, there is always someone out there who will listen to you complain or scream. There is always someone who will be there when you need some comfort. You'll feel a lot better once you get everything off your chest. Lyrics: To my mother, to my father, It's your son or it's your daughter, Are my screams loud enough for you to hear me? Should I turn this up for you? I sit here locked inside my head Remembering everything you've said This silence gets us nowhwere! Gets us nowhere way too fast! The silence is what kills me I need someone here to help me But you don't know how to listen And let me make my decisions 'Cause I sit here locked inside my head remembering everything you've said The silence gets us nowhere! Gets us nowhere to fast! All your insults and your curses make me feel like I'm not a person And I feel like I am nothing but you made me so do something 'Cause I'm fucked up because you are Need attention, attention you couldn't give I sit here locked inside my head Remembering everything you've said This silence get us nowhere! Gets us nowhere way to fast I. |

Well this is half correct and I got the scars to prove it. ++++++++++++ You are seeking an affectionate relationship, offering fulfilment and happiness. You are capable of powerful emotional enthusiasm. Deep down, you are a kind loving person, always helpful and willing to adapt yourself if necessary to realise the bond of affection that you desire. But you need the same consideration and understanding from others...and it is this need that sometimes will hold you back ... so let go - trust and you may pleasantly surprised at what happens ... Which ever way you turn - you feel that you are being utterly thwarted. There is considerable conflict in the air... but you will stick to your beliefs and not be deterred in endeavouring to attain your objectives. You feel that you deserve far more than is being attributed to you, but there is no-one to whom you can turn to for sympathy and understanding. Your pent-up emotions and inherent egocentricity make you quick to take offence, but as matters stand you realise that you willhave to make the best of things as they are. You are holding back. You need to find friends in whom you can trust and once they have proved themselves beyond all possible doubt you will be prepared to give them your all ... The existing situation is not of your liking. You have an unsatisfied need for mental stimulation with others whose standards are as high as your own. Trying to control your instincts the way you do restricts your ability to open up to others ... and the way you feel at this time is suggestive of "total surrender". This is not to your liking as you consider such thoughts as weaknesses that need to be overcome; You feel that only by control, controlling your innermost thoughts, are you able can you maintain your air of superiority. You want to be admired for yourself alone and not for what you can do or for what you may have done. In essence "you need to be needed" ... and at the same time... .."you need to need". You would like to be respected and valued for yourself and this can only be achieved from a close and harmonious relationship. I. This is how you remind me Of what I really am |
