| Bio: | I actually never considered that I would change primary journals. Over time I came to realize that until I had earned the right to call myself a gydhia in truth I did not want the title even for my journal, and so tonight I took action. The former journal which I kept, as ![[info]](http://library.vu.edu.pk/cgi-bin/nph-proxy.cgi/000100A/http/web.archive.org/web/20050112052712im_/http:/=2fstat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} freyjasgydhia served me well and I hope that many of my friends if not all of them will find their way here. There have been a lot of changes since I first came to Live Journal almost four years ago or so.. I've become more developed in a lot of ways, and focused too. I've made breaks within my family structure, both out of choice and out of need. I've moved from one part of town to another (not far really but it made a difference in quality of living) and my sons have both become teenagers. I've begun to change the way I see myself in relation to the world I guess, and that means it's time for a change. At least that's what it all adds up to. So, here we stand, on the brink of a blank page, a new world, a fresh start. I am making this journal friends only, primarily because as far as I am concerned my relationship with my family has deteriorated to such an extent that they no longer have a desire to know what is occuring in my life, nor do they truly deserve to. If they wish contact with me they may initiate it with me in my daily life. I am tired of feeling that I have to edit what I say in any way whatsoever and I am going to cease to do so. The tone of this journal will probably change a lot and many may wish to reconsider whether they want to read it. For those who stick around I thank you... All others, be well. In other words, if I don't know you, you aren't invited to the party... Yes, that's pretty blunt and not very nice, but it's the way things are. If you know me, but I don't recognize you due to the name of your journal leave a comment on the one public entry I'll be making for that purpose. everyone else, stay away. Seriously. Thanks. The basics are: I'm 35 years old I am the mother of two teenage sons who do not reside with me but who are pretty much the center of my world. My spirituality is a HUGE PART OF MY WORLD though generally I have another journal for the really major stuff. I write poetry in scads. I am very active in the alternative lifestyle community. Each year I march in the GAY PRIDE MARCH and I work toward a lot of other causes as well. My life is a constant adventure. I don't drive, I like to think of myself as THE QUEEN OF ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION. I have a lot of strife in my family as you may see over time. I don't make apologies for my beliefs, if what I say offends you so be it. I have been made aware in the past I have almost no tact gene and I have offended people by the comments I made about them in my journal. If you don't like it, then you're going to have to find a way to deal with it, it's my journal. This does not mean I will go out of my way to flame people, but if I have a situation where I have something to say and someone finds it offensive oh well. I will apologize for being a jerk. Just don't jump down my throat or attack me on my journal. I think that pretty much says all I want to say about myself at this point. Let the self exploration begin!
