See, I have no idea as I don't play the game. Although it kinda sounds me, I guess. I'd have to ask learsfool if she would agree. Wow - COOL!!! @ 11:43 amCurrent Mood: pleased I got this recently: 2004 Walk To Cure Diabetes Stepping up for kids and a cure Sandi Eason, Senior Vice President and Division Manager Wells Fargo along with the Greater Bay Area Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation invite you to join us at the... 2004 Walk to Cure Diabetes Walk Award & Appreciation Reception Date: Wednesday, December 15, 2004 Location: The Inn at Spanish Bay Time: 6:00 - 8:00 PM This is cool. I've never been to The Inn at Spanish Bay. That's Peeble Beach and the areas only 5 diamond hotel and 4 star resteraunt. I was the only one in the office who was invited it seems. A big thank you to everyone who contributed Getting Upgraded 2.0 @ 11:18 amCurrent Mood: hopeful Shawn took trhe car today and dropped me off at work so he could go get his liscence taken care of and hopefully pick up that fan for the new motherboard and get me all upgraded. Keep your fingers crossed, so close to an upgraded computer it's SCAIRY!!! Tonight I have a Garou scene on IRC as a Homid Athro is coming to challenge Last Hope for Eldership. Last Hope always turns down homids and most walk away, this is the first one to say 'Fuck that" and is coming to me directly. That earns him a point. Tomorrow I have a cue to cue tech rehearsal for the show at noon. For you non-theatricals its when you run each tech cue. When we did Buddy it had hundreds of sound and light cues last year. Man Who Came to Dinner has 18 light cues and 9 sound cues. two hours tops. Then home to likely watch Harry Potter and then possibly the Monterey troupe game. Sunday is a lazy day with a tech rehearsal at 6:00 for the show. Hopefully, I'll be playing CoH during the day as IRC RP sucks during the week-end usually. Oh yeah @ 08:55 amCurrent Mood: morose IF We were playing today... The Sharks would snuff out the Stars!!! Stupid Lock-out! Walk a mile in my shoes... @ 08:50 amCurrent Mood: thoughtful All of us walkers who were escorting people from the Reception Hall to dinner were give pedometers yesterday at the start of our shift. I took it off when I headed home and just looked at it when: 13959 steps yesterday Not sure how far that is, but its a LOT of steps. Glad I gots me gel insoles in these shoes of mine. ;) UPDATE I'm told its nearly 3 miles - yeeesh WTF? @ 07:15 amCurrent Mood: hungry Exhausted from work yesterday and a full belly from eating here, I was in bed about 10:30 or so while everyone else went to catch a late showing of the Incredibles. I had the MOST bizarre dream. First off I was back in Up With People and there was a LOT of symbolism in the dream that would be caught by anyone who travlled with me for that year on tour, but it was VERY bizarre and will be lost on my LJ readers although pretty significant to me. Includeing me having the WORST Scotish accent you can believe even though mine is actually damn near convincing to folks who hear it. Then I was in NYC with my Mom and Dad and we were going to a Haunted House there and low and behold, it's being run by greebotrill & eddyfate, who didnt recognize me at first. I remember Michelle leaning over and whispering, "Wait til you see the chests we have in there for you." The Haunted House itself hasd a Wrestling theme - big scary wrestlers and YES, boy they had some pretty boys and built boys in there, but it wasn't scary so they pulled me aside and asked me if I would work with everyone, direct them. And I tried, but no one was scaiy, no matter what I tried and they kept getting naked in front of me and I was trying to ignore that and be business like with my directing. Hot naked wrestlers and I'm telling them to put their clothes on??? What the fuck was in my dinner last night? November 25th, 2004On Break @ 04:32 pmCurrent Mood: flirty I really don't mind working Thanksgiving. It's not bad and I always forget the eye candy. Really good looking guys all around. There wais this dude in a cowboy hat and boots, deep emerald green eyes you could swim in and a HUGE bulge that was Satyrlike obscene. He smiled at me, I melted and would've dropped to my knees for him right there and then. Thi s19 year punk rock kid with spiked hair, black eyeliner, baggy jeans where you could see his Joe Boxer waistband and a luscious "fuck me" grin. Cute late teen/early 20's guys trying to dress up and look good for gramma and just looking downrightdelectable. Reminds me a LOT of Christian. So very many men to be thankful for! I'm horny! LOL! Busy Busy - Gobble Gobble @ 12:20 pmCurrent Mood: thankful Up to 3:30 last night doing 3 loads of laundry & load of dishes. Up at 9:00 this morning to finish dishes and prepare my sweet potato cassarole. (I even washed all the dishes I used - go me!) Now at work about to start the Shift From Hell Then home at 7:30 to eat dinner Honey brined tukey, garlic mashed potatoes, orange cranberry bread, nutmeg honey carrots, green bean cassarole and my sweet patotoes We are a Food Network exstravaganza. Alton & Emeril & Paula & Rachel would be SO proud of us. LOL! Happy Thansgiving everyone!!! FOX! @ 02:01 amCurrent Mood: Laid Back yep, real late night post. doing laundry for work and dishes for tomorrow, a GREAT scene going on in IRC as poor Christian makes his first slip into his Unseelie side. Ciomputers not updated yet - need a fan for the new motherboard. A $10 fan and won't get one til Friday. CRAP! Anyway, so doing laundry... I'm heading down with a load and teh local red fox pads across the parking lot, stopping to regard me. DAMN, he's adorable. I know several Fox Furries now and every time I see this fellow I think of them and wish they could see him. He's a GREAT critter. I wish he came around more often and I could just pet him. His red fur looks so soft... November 24th, 2004SWEET!!!!! @ 06:20 pmCurrent Mood: ecstatic Fixed the date issue, my computer was a week behind - go fig Shawn brought home the new mothereboard and case and will fix me up while I'm ay rehearsal tonight. Who knows I might be playing City of Heros TONIGHT! So, what servers is everyone on? I especially want to hear from raenshadoe and learsfool Almost Forgot @ 01:59 pmCurrent Mood: grumpy IF we were playing hockey today... The Sharks would DEFINATELY pluck the Blackhawks. STUPID Lockout Fortune of the Day @ 01:13 pmCurrent Mood: refreshed In Honor of thehalveric, who often posts fortunes from his workplace. We had Chinese today and here's my fortune: You have an unusually magnetic perrsonality I don't know, ya'all agree with that? I think myself pretty shy & withdrawn. ;) BAH! @ 12:15 pmCurrent Mood: annoyed New employee in the office Taking the empty desk beside me. LJ time just got more limited, which I guess is as it should be at work. Damn, I REALLY hope Shawns brings home the new motherboard or else my LJ posts will become quite scarce as I still haven't fixed the clock/timing problem Keeping My Fingers crossed @ 09:09 amCurrent Mood: excited Hopefully Shawn will be bringing home an old motherboard from his tech place, which is still 3x better then the POS I currently have. I *almost* bought the new PIRATES videogame, but am holding out until I actually have an upgraded machine. Shawn also is pretty sure I'll be able to play City of Heros. Once I have it, I'll find out whose playing on which server and join the Superhero goodness. Got HP & PoA last night. Waiting until Saturday and watching it! Very likely doing a HP marathon of all 3 DVDs. Wish I had more LJ friend who were closer and I'd invite folks over. In Fresno, I know the Den o' Iniquity would be packed for folks up for that idea. Maybe in San Diego, I'll have a tight circle of friends like that again. The majority my friends now live at least 90 mins away and rarely wish to come visit me as often as I visit them. No, not bitter. ;) Tonights our last run through for The Man Who Came to Dinner before tech week starts on Saturday. We open in a week. I'm going to steal the show. I have to work tomorrow from 11:00 to 7:30 as we feed 1700 people then back home to have Thanksgving dinner with Shawn and neighbors. I'm makin my only meal I make from scratch, my sweet potato cassarole. OK, back to work. Can't wait until the upgraded computer so I can LJ post from home again! November 23rd, 2004Amusing Lemming @ 02:12 pmCurrent Mood: depressed Several of these are sublime they are so appropo raenshadoe as a witch, given her beliefs. cangelo is responsable for malrunus's death And, of course, ultramundanecom is already immortal as one of my icon makin' Gods! For the record, I'll gladly sing at any funeral if I can make it through the tears... BAH! @ 08:52 amCurrent Mood: complacent Tried to update LJ yesterday & today but it says theres some discrepencies in the time I want to post. I just wanna post - post the damn thing! ;) Yesterday was a wonderfully lazy dazy day and today is HARRY POTTER DAY Shawn bought me the DVD and I get to go pick it up today. Maybe I'll watch all three movied this week-end. I have tech rehearsals this week-end, so gotta stick at home. Finally found a song I like to use for the song I sing in The Man Who Came to Dinner. Using Cole Porters "Love for Sale" it's getting the laughs I want and much better suited to the character. Yeah, we open in 2 weeks and I finally found a song. Well, I gots work and then about 30 mins of rehearsal tonight. Which means I'll either watch HP tonight or IRC some more. I gotta update knights_rogues with a Last Hope and his defeat by Griffin, Trojan and his flaming bay bridge sprint and Christian and his finally getting a girlfriend. I'm STILL an E-Ticket, baby!!! @ 08:51 amCurrent Mood: chipper Space Mountain: A thrilling rocket ride through the darkness of outer space! Futuristic and forward thinking, you have just enough 2001-esk elements without escaping Walt Disney's utopian vision for a brighter tomorrow. You represent speed, stealthness, and the promise of technology, while your Dick Dale surf guitar riff of a soundtrack makes you retro and mysterious, without being corny. Keep the lights low and avoid revealing too much, lest you ruin the show, you're only going 28 mph! Regardless of speed, you prove that in the vacuum in space, you CAN hear people scream! What Disneyland attraction are you? brought to you by Quizilla Of course, anyone who knows me, knows I'm REALLY the Haunted Mansion But seeing as SM has a killer surfabilly score as you ride it, I'm down with this! November 22nd, 2004{Garou} Talons & Griffin @ 08:49 amCurrent Mood: determined It's the write up of the event by Keith Johnson and he did a KICK ASS jb of it. ( Cut due to length and teh fact some folks may not give a rats ass.. or a wolfs ass in this case. ;) ) November 21st, 2004Surprised? @ 10:29 pmCurrent Mood: amused
