This year we'll continue to the be
the place where
players, politicians, rabblerousers
and the
disenfranchised all get together to
lock horns and debate
the issues of the day. From national
politics to culture,
from genetically modified foods to
the cult of celebrity,
we're in the business of getting
past the spin, through
argument and spirited exchange.
We'll also continue to open the
doors to Studio 50 in
the CBC fortress in Toronto to a
live studio audience, a
turbo Town Hall, so that anyone and
everyone can be
part of the debate. We encourage
people to take on
issues, guests and each other, in a
lively form of TV
democracy.
The executive producer of
