um pete beat me to the punch
les savy fav were great so were pretty girls make graves so was my beer spitting fight with ellie was good to have a proper night out even if i had to work today
i also locked myself out of the house while rushing to ride to maccas before they stop serving breakfast ... i failed on that task
next on my 'things to look forward to' is meredith
oh, "gerry" sucked bigtime. i really should have learned from "elephant" and to a lesser extent, "finding forrester" ... van sant has turned crap, utter crap. gerry was another short film dragged out to feature length, with no character development, and no insight. also no dialog. avoid! avoid! avoid!
too tired to go out tonight :(
collapsing time, night night

+ :: the killers ... i am loving this album ... the first half of it at least - :: the grudge ... oh god, i had serious misgivings about this, but it is so much worse than i thought it would be. please do NOT go and see this awful hollywood remake of an ok japanese horror film. stop the insanity. they've stolen the slow pacing and rising tension, and added sarah michelle gellar. a couple of the fabulous scenes have been butchered or even missing completely. so sad :( RENT THE ORIGINAL, DON'T SEE THIS + :: les savy fav ... i am very much 'can't wait'ing for november - :: dark water american remake ... this is gonna hurt :(

Many things happening/happened
- Mark Kozelek - Pretty Girls Make Graves - Meredith - New Buffalo
I got a lovely massive mix cd from a random person in canada, and I've filtered it down to a nice big bunch of great songs. Am loving. Overloaded with dvds. Boss TU-2 in the mail. Checking the P.O. Box daily takes me back to high school, when I'd do the same thing, walking from school to the Post Office. I love mail.
Call me.

while trawling through cd's at cashies, i saw
this. $4
anyway, the point was that i just went out for lunch, with the aim of doing 'good deeds' for 4 people on my list. true to my style, i only actually did one of them, but not for lack of trying.
i hope you appreciate it

- staying up till the teletubbies come on is never a good idea, it results in tiredness, and needing to snap on the couch all late arvo/night, meaning now i'm not tired, but still feel like shit
- saw tara at belle and sebastian/weekender. if ever someone should be voted "person who has changed least", its her
- when it rains, it pours
- go bree!
- sorry, book club, but i really did feel like shit
- pearl jam cover bands are funny, as are you comedic geniuses who yell stuff, and steal setlists. love you for it

yikes spent a while looking through the guide, and selected around 12 films
Cold Light ... Guerilla ... Switchblade Romance ... Men Suddenly In Black A Tale Of Two Sisters ... Metallica ... Jandek On Corwood ... One Missed Call Doppelganger ... Memories Of Murder ... Last Horror Movie ... Low In Europe
Guerilla ... Switchblade Romance ... Men Suddenly In Black ... A Tale Of Two Sisters Metallica ... Jandek On Corwood ... One Missed Call ... Doppelganger Low In Europe ... Dead Creatures ... G-Sale ... Bright Future ... The Yes Men
of course, with a mini-pass, i get 10 films, plus 3 sessions before 4 on a weekday naturally, NONE of these are showing before 4 on a weekday
so i have to dump 2 of them, and pick 3 extra films that are showing getting a season pass is so much less complex wish i had the time and money
suggestions please on films showing, which i can use the mini-pass bonus sessions for ?? thanks :)
---
this sucks, the more i read, trying to find 3 films to watch before 4pm, the more good films i find, to be tacked onto the "must see" list. I can't afford this :(
and there is NOTHING i want to see before 4 on a weekday, dammit, it's all shit
Graveyard Of Honor ... Skinhead Attitude ... Blind Spot
