| Bio: | The basics....I run my own website, Verotika dot Org, and have been affiliated with Stileproject since 2000. I have done some fetish modeling in the past, for internet websites such as Gothic Sluts and Hypnox Photography, as well for magazines such as Marquis and others.I devote most of my time to working 5 days a week, and am also taking my last class for my Anthropology BA degree. I am graduating from UCLA this June after five years in college. I live in a 1-bedroom apt in the center of Hollywood with my boyfriend Shok, my fat black cat Dante and his dog Pooch.  A bit about who I am... Chances are good that if you met me in person, you wouldn't like me. The rare exceptions aside, most of my friends all have a similar story: they all thought I was a total bitch at first. I used to not understand why, but over the years enough people have confirmed this reality. I can come across as cold, stoic, indifferent, aloof, snobby...aren't those all practically synonyms?? Anyways, what's really going on there is I don't know you and I'm sizing you up. I will probably continue to act this way until I am comfortable with you. Of course, sometimes I am in a rare mood and people find me to be charming from the beginning ;) Now assuming we have gotten through that initial barrier where you suspect I might be a horrible person, but you can see there are more layers to this onion...I have a lot to offer as a friend. If I care about you, I will drop everything to help you out. I will not let a close friend end up on the street, and I have done a lot to prevent this from happening. I won't lend you money, but I will open my home and my heart. I am the type of person that will show up with vitamins and soup when you have a cold. I can also be a lot of fun to hang out with...I love going to shows and I love long talks over drinks...and I'm not a bad dancer, either. I am witty and I'm very intelligent. I am very well read and always up-to-date on sociopolitical issues. While we are on that subject for a second, I am always open to hearing your opinion, and I will respect the opinion you have as long as you can back up why you feel the way you do...and while I am open to having my opinion swayed, your chances are better if you try to sway it towards the left, not the right. I am one of the more liberal people you'll ever meet: I am registered Green Party, I am agnostic, I am pro-choice, I support drug legalization across the board, and I support sex and also marriage between ANY consenting adults. You should also probably know that my brain is in the gutter...my thoughts and things that I say can be very sex-oriented and I love pornography. With my liberal beliefs comes a certain negative attitude...I don't have a lot of faith anymore in the direction our country is headed, and with that realization I have limited, but still existing, hope for the future. Finally, I have had friends from all different cultural, economic and religious backgrounds, and it only works out through mutual respect of differences and a desire to come together through similarities. | ||||
