Im about to finish the sixth book in the Dune series. Anyone have any other suggestions for any sci-fi books in particular that I should read? Or really, any book. I want to read the David Sedaris books, but other than that I dont know. Im an avid reader, so give me some suggestions.

Okay, I just had a big mac, medium fries, and a medium chocolate shake.
I could puke.
I dont know how people eat this shit, its so freaking disgusting. Even if it does taste good initially, it leaves you with this horrific overstuffed feeling, and I can feel a lump of grease and fat in my stomach. Its been hours, and Im still totally sick to my stomach.
I need to stick to lighter foods. Eeeeek. I hate fried foods!

On Will and Grace this week, Grace's husbands xgf comes over for dinner, and it turns out she had slept with Will in college. So a lot of funniness happens, and the xgf is in hysterics cause she loves Will, and she goes "Will, you spun me round, baby, round round, like a record baby, round round round round!"
I just thought of that now. Fucking hysterical if you saw it, cause she says it totally seriously. God I love that show. Hahahaha.
Ps. Tonight Im going to the drugged out muscle boy heaven known as Roxy if anyone wants to come.

My drycleaner closed down WITH my clothes!!!!!!!!
I dropped them off on Friday. I went to pick them up on Sunday and the place was closed. I went back today, Monday, and it was all boarded up! No phone number, no explanation, nothing. And I called their phone number and its disconnected.
I called Consumer Affairs and reported them. Im sure I'll never see the three $50 shirts that I dropped off, but whatever. You get fucked over a lot in life, it seems. I just wish I could fucking kick those assholes in the head.

Okay, I have to bitch here.
I just went to a local supermarket, and they asked me to leave my messenger bag at the door. What am I going to steal from a supermarket? Id like to try to walk out with a gallon of milk, bag of chips, and a box of cereal in my messenger bag.
So, rather than hand over my bag, I said "Are you kidding me?" and then walked to the exit door and left. I was in total and absolute shock. Then I walked to the supermarket 3 blocks away, which is cleaner, cheaper, and has no bag-check policy. Fuckin insane.

It annoys me when someone adds me as a friend and then they abandon their journal, but they dont delete it, so I end up listed as one of their friends for like months or years even though they never check their journal and I didnt list them as one of my own friends. So Im just on this random abandoned journal's friends list and I wish I could knock myself off of it.

We have a great share in a 4-bedroom converted apartment. The room is small, but the neighborhood makes up for it! We are right in the heart of the East Village. Shops, restaurants, and bars abound.
Your room has hardwood floors and its own entrance, although it doesn't have any windows. The room is closet-sized, measuring approximately 2x6 feet. Actually, it is a closet.
The room is perfect for someone coming to New York without a lot of stuff, since most of it is already filled with clothes. There's a nice clear space on the floor for your sleeping bag. If you like, the room can come partially furnished with an air mattress.
Overnight guests are fine, although they probably won't fit.
I have lived in the hall closet for a year and a half now, and I love it! The other roommates are really respectful about only hanging up their coats when I'm awake.
This room would be really great for a short person!

Lets see. Work dominated this week. I got a nasty cold. But my body fought it off, and I survived. Hm. My boss called me into his office to tell me how impressed he is with my productivity. He asked if he could take me out to lunch with some of the other senior management. The next day, he called me into his office to scream at me because he had asked me to complete a report, and I did a whole bunch of other appraisals before I did the one he asked me to complete. Oh well. He was like "I dont want to damage your moral, but when I tell you to do something it needs to get done!" He was furious. It did damage my moral. Then the next day, he again tells me he wants to take me out to lunch. Interesting.
What else? Im listening to Fallout Boy and they fucking rock. Props to Gardenmonkey for this.
For those of you who know Jguy8, my favorite gay mormon... some stuff happened at home and he called me and asked me to delete it for him. If things work out, he'll be back soon.
