chris will be here tonight. i'm excited :)
i get to dye his hair for him....i bought 2 boxes, i hope it's enough. and we have tons of food for the car ride up to toronto...and that's before i even bake tonight (i think i might make pumpkin bread after work. hmm. techincally, i have time to bake it right now, but naah, i'll wait and do it tonight. maybe. we'll see. it depends on what time he gets here, what time my aunt is over until....how long its going to take to dye his hair....(eeeep!) when i did Sarah's hair (which is proly the same length and thickness as chris') it took us 5 hours, but that was because we had to put a little cap on her head and pull hair through the cap, then bleach it, then dye it. so, i'm hoping chris' doesn't take THAT long. i also need to find some old t-shirts or someting to cover my pillows with...i don't want hair dye on my bed. or i'll just blow-dry his hair. hehe.

yep, thats right. she'll be in canadia and the wonderful us of a this august...and will be in Pennyslyvania towards teh end of her visit...soo.....if Ollej is in Philly, and i go pick her up (or she takes a train or whatever) and we wind up at my apartment..who wants to come out and partay? (maggie? san? jeff? linz?) It could serve a dual purpose and also be my birthday partay, and we know how much fun that was last year! (hehehe reese and the stress relief gel. ahh, memories)
so, yeah. looks like i'm having a party in august for the lovely Ms. Jello :)

i made some new icons, but i am in need of *more* :) i made this one that i'm using, as well as this one:
 ... which was moslty made out of boredom and wanting something chris drew as an lj-icon....and since i think charles is cute (erm, the fact that he looks like chris has nothing to do with it....yes, i'm being serious), it seemed a likely choice, until i can convince chris to draw me something for annaonthemoon....

1) Which Harry Potter character do you identify with most? Why?
I'd have to say Ginny. She's so quiet and shy and, in the case of the second book, only wanted Harry to pay her some attention and like her. And then, in ...( warning 5th book spoliers! ) Plus, she has red hair. and ever since I read Anne Of Green Gables at age 9, i wanted red hair.
2) If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? How long would you stay there?
australia. and i'd stay forever. well, ok maybe not forever, but i'd definitly want to spend at least month in Brisbane with all the brisxf folk, and then there are a few of them that live in Sydney and Melbourne (oh, i totally butchered that spelling). I think i mightl ike to spend the entire summer there, or maybe a semseter (not like i have semesters anymore, but you get the length of time i'm talking about)
3) Describe your Mr. Right.
wow. my mr right has quite a lot to live up to. he needs to be accepting of me and all my strange little quirks, like the constant need to be attached to the internet, even if its with an away mesage, and the constant need to have my cell phone nearby if people need me. He needs to understand that i will drop all my plans if someone calls me and needs me. he needs to love me, unconditionally, and for who i am, and not want anything about me to change. but if i do change, i'd want him to embrace that new extension of me. i'd want him to understand my moods, and how i sometimes go from being really hyper and silly to being upset or angry. I want someone to hold me in my sleep, and to cuddle me and make me feel special. i want him to compliment me, even if i'm wearing my pajamas from college..i want him to think i am beutiful all the time...and to understand that if i feel ugly, him agreeing is not a good thing. I want someone who would be thoughtful, and mindful of dates and anniversaries and special things. someone who'd bring me daisies just for the heck of things. someone who, like me, feels the random need to go away for a few days and will just plan a trip in just a few days time. Someone who understands my obsessions, and even humors me to a level. someone who understands the need for sleeping with stuffed animals. a romantic. one who is not afraid to sleep in a girlie-bed, or even to live in a girlie-apartment. my mr right...would be my everything, but also allow me to keep my old friends and do what i want.
4) If you could have any animal in the world for a pet, what would you choose and why?
hmmmm. Moose are my favourite animal, but they ar'nt really all that cuddly. I think i might like a tiger, or a lion..something thats cat-like and cuddly.
5) If you could sit down to dinner with anyone famous, past or present, who would you pick? What would you eat?
Julie Andrews. and we'd have high tea.

hmm. by just the show, does that mean meeting bnl afterwards or meeting bn.net people don't count? regardless, i think i i still have to go with the show at Penn State. yes, it was the first time i had front row, and the first time i met the boys, but it also was at my own school! and, they played Light Up My Room AND Call and Answer at the same show :)
4. What's your most favorite alcoholic beverage? Why?
I don't do much drinking anymore, but i think it's sex on the beach. the name alone is pretty fun, and the mix of orange-cranberry-peach is yummy.
5. If you won $50,000, and had to use it to buy a car, what car would you buy?
I don't think i'd spend the whole $50,000. It's be a toss-up between a Mini Cooper S and a Beetle Convertable :)
6. You have the chance to create your own home, all expenses paid. How big is it? What would you include inside?
hmm. it's a cabin on a waterfront...i'd have one room dedicated to my books, and the walls would be lined with bookcases, and would have a few really comfy chairs in it for reading. There would also be a music room, complete with piano, and walls of sheet music, records, cds. This also would be the room for all my BNL paraphanalia. It would have a large kitchen, complete with double oven. and then there would also be a room for my computer(s), a home theatre room (mmm big screen and THX sound), a master bedroom for me, and at least 2 other bedrooms for when freinds dropped by.

hmm. kevin mostly because he's the pianist, and i have this thing for guys that play the piano. :) and he's cute too. Jim..well, jim's is more personal. he remembers me. its really an amazing feeling to see him and have him remember meeting you before, and remember things that were said, or remember emails that were sent. I also am in love with upright basses.
2. What do you like most about your job? Least?
hmm. most? the people i work with, they really rock. least? irate customers who "have been banking here for years"
3. Of all the folks you've yet to meet from bn.net, who would you most like to meet and why?
hmmm. FC21. he and i seem to have a bunch in common, and he's a good guy. also chad (bnlfan7) -- he and i got close online a few years ago, and havn't been too good at keeping touch. and of course, you!! :) really, i want to meet everyone. hehe.
4. Do you use your LJ for you to get your thoughts out or to keep your friends informed on what's going on in your life? Does it bother you if people don't comment on your entries?
its kind of a combination of the two. sometimes i ramble because i feel like it, other times i write stuff to keep friends (like johnabe in japan right now) up to date on whats going on with me. mostly its just for me to have a record of what i did, and stuff that i thought aboyut. it also helps when i scrapbook, i can go back in entries to find out when something happened. i also tend to post a lot of locked entries. sily, i know when there are like 50 people on my friends list, but a lot of my thoughts are things i only want people i know reading.

.....i'm going to clean my room! or at least, i've been trying. it's actually really funny right now. there's no bed in my room. the old bed is in a bundle in the hallway (it was an air mattress) and the new one (compelete with bed frame!!!) is in the hallway waiting for david to come over this evening to help me with it :) my suitcase is in the hallway too. i want to empty it before david comes over so maybe i can se nd it home with him.

i passed my first test from Sovereign today with a 93%. we only needed an 85. woofreakinhoo! yes, i rock. :) and i can almost identify all the presidents on the bills. almost. i still get them confuzzled a little. oh well. i mean, i know what the bills look like, but its hard to say "lincoln is on a $5, ben is on a $100, etc." i'm getting bettertho. yesterday, i got all the questions on it wrong, and then today i only got one or 2 wrong. whee.

Hey guys :) 'm updating real quickly from Ramy's house...and i might be
here tihs weeknd too, cos she ivited me and well, yeah. i might. hehe.
anyway. training is pretty boring. today becaue of computer errors, i got
paid to ssit and read HArry Potter for 3 hours. woo hoo. anyway, people

well, here i am at virginia's...it seems so weird to have the computer on but not connected to the internet. very strange indeed. anyway. so after going to sleep at 2am last night, i was up again at 615, to head on out to philly for the firtst day of work training. ugh. so sleepy. we got done around 2pm today...we're supposed to be there until 4. oh well. So afterwards, i had nothing to do until 6, so i woulnd up at Mercer Park. I just sat in the car and read Harry Potter a bit. Then i went over to James' house to see him for a bit, went out to dinner with him and his girfriend, Eileen. and then i mooched off him and used his shower, and he was nice and checked my car for me, and the buckling thing it does when i shut it off is called dieseling...he said if i get that fuel injector cleaning stuff it should fix the problem. hehe. he said "make sure you put it in the gas tank and not the oil." right. he's a dork. anyways. im waiting for Chris to get off the phone so i can call him...so i'm going to read a bit more in Harry Potter.

i left ann arbor at 5 (by the time i was done weeping about leaving and making chris hug me like 50000 times) and parked the car in front of the apartment at 1:18 according to the clock in the car. I credit the being 18 minutes over 8 hours because i had to stop in Ohio for food and gas. (their rest areas have Panera Breads!!!) My car used more gas going home than going there. but going home it was uphill most of the time in PA as opposed to down. *shrug* anyway - what we did:
*watched anime - this cute mini series called Read or Die about this girl who's a bookworm and an agent for some kind of intelligence thingie. (Can't spell that word that the b in fbi stands for). she also has magical powers that revolve around paper - she can make paper into strong chains, sharp pointy things, a parachute, and even use it to bind people. pretty cool.
*drove around ann arbor and the UM campus in the convertable. i felt so special. It was the first time i had ridden in a convertable (unless my freinds lebaron with the UN openable convertable top counted). i have decided that UM is larger than PSU.
*other hangie outie stuff. talked a lot mostly.
i fell asleep watching anime, and chris cuddled me while i slept, so it made me feel good. i know it was a little insane to do that, but i think both of us needed to see each other. even though we didn't get to talk about everything that was upsetting each of us in our lives, i certainitly feel better about a lot of things. sometimes, life just gets overwhealming and you need to go see someone who you know will just hug you and hold you without asking you too many questionsl
anyway. i need to go to bed. must get up at 6:15 to be out of here by 7:15. yeah. the computer is coming with me, so i probly won't be reading LJ entries for the next 2 weeks. but if there's anything you want me to read, just leave me an lj comment with a link and ill read it when i get home. and if you need to tell me something, talk to chris darthparadox -- ill probly be talking to him each evening.
oh, and in eed a new bed. i did get it with a piece of glass that day everything broke. damnit.

it's harry potter day! As soon as i get dressed, i think im heading over to the mall to see about picking me up my copy.
i fell down the stairs. no, not all of them, but the bottom few, i just tumbled right down the stairs and down the landing...with my old METAL fan and broken sandwich maker in my hand. Needless to say, there's a huge honkin bump and bruise on my lower left leg, a smaller bruise on my right leg, my left wrist is puffy (might bruise later?) and a few of my fingers feel as tho they had the skin ripped off. I'm also randomly getting that pin and needle feeling in assorted parts of my body. I didn't hit my head tho, and actually, didn't really fall all that much. the landing/door/fan kinda kept me from falling over, but it was more the fan and the sandwich maker (which is really heavy and was in a bag so it swung out and hit me) that caused all the bruises. but ow. this hurts a lot. it's going to make shaving in the shower mighty interesting. how the heck do you shave a bruise??
i'm almost all packed. my poor suitcase. and im taking TONS of stuff with me. 2 weeks worth of business clothing, plus a bunch of non- businessey stuff to wear if i feel like running around with friends at all in the evenings, my laptop and its assorted paraphanalia. a duffel bag, for next weekend when i think im sleeping elsewhere (or driving to MI maybe), my messenger bag for training, a bag of canned goods/assorted food so i can eat this week, my lunch box....aaagggg. the list goes on and on and on and on....
oh, and in nightstar news: I was nice to matzarah today. he was saying how he needed martin awake and was contemplating calling him, and well, after calling westy a bunch and having westy look up rates to the us/canada, i knew matzarah would be paying an arm and a leg for it. so i offered to call deamon for him. and i did. so see? i can be nice. someone direct deet to this posting? i don't think he reads my lj unless i ask him to, and thats something i want him to read.
anyway. as soon as melany is done in the bathroom, its my turn. then im going to the mall, then talking to chris, and depending on what he says, either driving to MI, or finishing cleaning my room before i head to NJ. (so, yes. if i'm going to MI, my room isn't getting cleaned at all. hehe oh well. not my problem. it will get done when i get back, and be clean before Chris visits on the 10th....i hope.

i've also removed bigbrain61. i don't know what to say about the whole situation, other than that i am hurt by how easily he can just tell someone he's known for several years that he cant be their friend. and all because his girlfriend reads things that arnt there. whatever. he wants to be a big jerk and ditch me, fine. it's really nice to know who your friends are.
i just had to add lots of air to my bed..i was touching the floor earlier when i laid on it. i hope its just that it was low from me not adding air to it in over 2 months and that the glass i broke didn't put a hole in it. either way, as soon as i see one on sale again,i think im going to pick up a 2nd one. i'm actually really interested in the aero one that has a box spring type thing too, but the aero ones are so friggin expensive, and i'm sure is just as succeptable to being cut by a piece of glass as a regular air mattress. we'll see how it is tomorrow morning, and then in 2 weeks ehen i get home.
my room is a mess. i didn't put away my laundry or pack. instead i took a nap. right now, i should/could be doing those things, but i'm waiting for chris to show up, and i just really lack motivation. i wish chris would get home soon. i wish he had a cell phone. then, at least, he could send me a text message letting me know what time he'd be home. maybe i'll buy him a cell for his birthday. i already know what i want to get him, but maybe i'll get him a phone instead. :P i just hate this. i want/need to talk tohim. chris, sweetie...please do not go to bed untilyou talk to me. you know if ived fallen asleep, illl wake again.
tomorrow i leave for nj and two weeks of no internet. chris will be checking my email, and maybe even lj postingg for me while im training.
