Subject: Vagina Monologues pt2 Time: 1:12 pm. Mood: sleepy.

Ok..I finally got the actual show dates and times from the director! Im also making this a public post in hopes that EVERYONE in the harrisonburg community will come to see the Vagina Monologues!!!! The performances are: Saturday Feb 14th 6:30 AND 9:30pm Sunday Feb 15th 8:00pm all at the court square theatre Tickets are $8/student and $10/adult in advance and $10/student and $12/adult at the door. The money goes to help the local orgs that help prevent violence towards womyn and aid in helping womyn who are in abusive relationships...so the tix may be expensive......but its for a REALLY good cause. Call Court Square for info about advance tix. I hope to see EVERY SINGLE JMU STUDENT thats on my friends list there! Im stage managing the show in case youre wondering why Im advertising. Also this thursday Im getting flyers for the show. Is there any JMU student that can hang them up for me? I cant park on campus cos Ive graduated.

so apparently I have a second job now.... starting monday Im back to tutoring football players....for an hour for 4 days a week. I WAS going to eat lunch with my dad during that time (since he'll be up here) and I WAS looking forward to not always working nights all the time....but the kid needs help in gpsych 101...and Im a psych major so not ONLY will it look good on my resume, but it will be a nice review for me. so anyways, now Im back to working nights all the time....but in the end ill thank myself for it. I do get paid 7 dollars an hour tho :)

Looking back at college.... So I still have a semester left...I can still look back cant I? I wish I had a set group of friends to always hang out with. I have many friends, and I love them all....I just kinda miss "the group" the people that I would always hang out with in highschool. I wish I was more wild. College is a time to be wild, yet even in Cancun, I was pretty tame. I wish I hooked up more. Not to the point of being dirty, but to the point of exploring myself and others more. I wish I read my textbooks when they were posed to be read. I wouldnt stress out as much I do. I wish I wouldve found love.....I wish I didnt always look for it. I wish I wouldve dyed my hair bright purple back when I had the chance...now its too late I wish I tried out for more plays I wish I tried out for choir. I miss the artsy side of myself. But now I know what I need to do in the real world. I need to live a little, read a lot and try out for the local theatre troop, while working in a nonprofit animal rights org. Only then will I be truly happy. I think how my mind tends to think the most when I have a test I should be studying for.

Its interesting. In 19 years, I only have 2 friends I still keep in contact with from my childhood...and they arent even really from my childhood because I met them both in 7th grade...but its the only thing I got. One of them I still refer to as Batman. He had a crush on me in 7th grade and when he finally got a chance to dance with me, the only thing he managed to think of saying was, "Im batman". Since middleschool was the wrost years of my life, I think I repressed everything from that time...so ofcourse I have no recollection of that. But no worries...his friends will never let him forget. The other is Batman's bestfriend, Joe...who also happend to be my boyfriend at that time. We were more bestfriends than dating.....dont tell Joe I only asked him out to get back at a friend who liked him. But ever since then we've been friends...we have our times when we're really close, and times when we have no idea whats going on with eachother......but we know that all we have to do is hop in a car and ride around for a while to catch up. Its funny how the only two constants I have in my life happen to be the weirdest people I know. Its also funny that the people I called my "best friends" were not a part of the constant.....only these two boys...who I'll never forget....Batman and Joe.

Wow. Tonight was such an amazing night! Bittersweet, but amazing. I was scheduled to work eventhough I requested off 3 months ago to see the 2 skinnee j's LAST performance in the burg...but for some reason the manager doing the schedule fucked up, and I had to work. Really bummed out, I tried to call everyone and their mom to get them to cover for me, but apparently everyone sucks and no one covered for me. So I went to work, and the kids there knew how much I loved the skinnee that one covered from 9:30 until close for me, and two of them did all my side work so I could leave ASAP. Its people like that, that make you happy to be alive. So I got to the concert......and fastforward to the skinnee. There was these group of guys...all friends...all VERY weird! And for ME to call someone weird, you know they were REALLLY weird. Anyways, they were all wearing weird things...which whatever..wear what you want. But if that was the only thing weird about them, I wouldnt be complaining. The one that was wearing the deflated raft as an outfit was right next to me. Everytime he'd raise his armpits a waft of hprrible stench would come directly my way, and when youre in a mosh pit....youre REALLY close to eachother, so I was basically eating his armpit stench. I would move away and put someone in between us, but for some reason, 2 seconds later his armpit would be back in my mouth. This was the first time in my LIFE I let a bunch of people get infront of me in a concert. As I move away, another one of his posse was there. This guy had an albino-bald head...and he wanted like 10 sq. feet of room to dance...so he would get violent and push and smack people so he could dance...so I put more people in front of me, all the while moving over. Well then I got to the last of their posse...and they were pretty normal...except apparently theyre all bestfriends or something and were insecure about their lives because every 5 secs they had to touch hands with eachother....no matter how far away they were............this equals me eating armpits even more. Well finally I get to the speaker...where my exroomie is...and my favourite person of 2 skinnee js...so I was happy. I even had room to put my feet down on the floor. It was amazing. Throughout the last few songs....Lance would wink at me....smile at me...point to me.....etc. It was great. The last 2 times they played, I ended up at the speakers near Lance. I shouldve just started the show there, it wouldve saved me a lot of trouble....Oh well...too late. The show was AMAZING!!! They played all the classics and some new songs. The guy in the bunny suit wasnt there this time. That sucked...especially since the last time they were at JMU we bonding over a cigarette after the show. After this show I realized that I lost 6 buttons off my purse. SADTIMES! I found 3 of them, but theyre alll mangled and you cant really read them. Ah well...it was worth it. Also after the show, Lance came up to me, rubbed my shoulder and said, "You looked so squished down there", I said, "eh, what can ya do?" . Thats makes it official. Every skinnee show Ive been to, Ive talked to Lance :) and he has yet to remember me...but I never expect him to. then J guevara walked by and gave me the cutest smile :) I love being a girl sometimes. Its sad though. I keep wanting to type "next time" after some of this shit....but there isnt going to be a next time. The is the last 2 skinnee j's tour :( At least I got to see them one last time. Ill miss their shows. They were definately a major part of my college career. Kinda weird. their last show...and Im only one semester away from graduating. It was like they were only posed to be there when I was in college...and now that Im moving on, so are they. I cant wait for their reunion show!!!!!!! Peace.

Okie now that Ive calmed down...I can tell you the real news in my life. Ive met this grrl named Amanda. Shes gorgeous and amazing...and I sometimes feel like I have to be careful around her, cos I like her more than she knows...and I REALLY dont want to screw it up...cos I think we could eventually have something amazing. Right now we're just friends...but Im hoping it works out to be something more........not rushing into it though. I perfer to float into things. so we'll see

Im pissed off right now...and I think its mostly irritation from lack of sleep. Im hungry..and no one will go to mexinight with me. Ive been workign my ass off this whole weeka nd tis only tuesday and Ill fucking want is some mexinight and no one will go with me. Im pissed off...I requested off from work and they didnt give it to me...when i was the ONLY ONE who requested off that day so there was no reason not to. So now I have to miss the LAST TIME my second favourite band is playing in the 'burg. Maybe they'll come to Rubys for a beer before the show. riiiight. Im pissed off at people's comments before and against the war. Im a radical liberal..and I am against the war for a number of reasons...but because Im an intelligent human being I know when and where to bring up war issues. However, apparently 99% of h'burg doesnt know how to voice there oppinions in a sound manner....this only leads to anger and frustration people! No one's oppinion is being heard when youre yelling stupid, insensitive comments...or when youre just yelling at people without sense or reasoning behind your so-called debate. Im pissed off because apparently NO ONE at PETA is fucking organized. Im seriously thinking of not having anything to do with them anymore. They keep on dicking me over...and it's really not helping the Animal Rights Coalition look good...in fact it makes me look like a complete ass because I keep on having to cancel and reschedule things. PETA get your fucking act together. Im serious. Im pissed off for a lot more reasons than that...but I dont want to bore anyone. Im just having a horrible day. and all i fucking want is mexinight. fucking eh.

Spring Break, I dont even know where to start. It was the most amazing experience of my life. I went to Dominica and taught in the schools and paved roads.....but I dont even think thats what made the trip so amazing. I was submerged in another culture that's so incrediably different from my own for one week. I was Dominican (sorta) for one week, and it just made me realize how shitty America and government in general really is. I wish I could go into more detail, but I learned so much, I really dont know where to start. I mean I learned everything from how pineapples grow, what gooseberries, custard apples, apple bannanas and bread fruit taste like to the sexual relationships of the Dominicans. I learned about the healthcare for the ederly, the government, the past wars, the church, the land and the bugs. I swam under waterfalls, waded through rivers, swam in teh rainforest, inside of mountains, in the ocean. I took boatrides through rivers, saw huge termite nests, took boatrides with strangers across the sea, shared stories, ate coconuts off of trees, saw bunnies that were raised to be eaten, hung out with a rasta, played handgames with kids, sang, read poetry infront of the whole town, taught poetry to 3rd graders, answered questions about America, learned Creole, tried to speak french, ate iceballs, drank quenchi, walked up a cliff many times, got bug bites, walked miles for Dominican moonshine, gossiped, made friends, slept with bats and termites, cried about leaving, was mad about silly things, pretended to be dating Kai, bought souvenirs, saw mullets, made sharpturns in a van packed with people atleast twice a day, and had tons of memories to bring back. It was definately a life-altering experience and Im definately going back in August. *sigh*
