The last post got me wondering. What was everyone's video dissapointment of the year, that is, for a song you LOVE but had a video that made you say, "What? Come on! Balzak!"
Mine was Interpol - Slow Hands BALZAK INTERPOL!!!

hello -- i realize that advertising is probably not allowed and will probably discourage any listeners, however -- i run a small label called "oh! map records" and we have been garnering a little bit of attention over the last few months -- i am only advertising because i really feel as though this music needs to be heard. i encourage you to listen to these songs, put them on mix-cds and tapes for friends, spread the word if you enjoy them.
here is the website.
( here are all of the mp3s that are currently available )
ps. more information about the bands and their albums are on the website. five releases are currrently available. more information about them is here. a few more releases will be coming out in the next few months, including my album, which -- if i get enough orders in -- i may be getting pressed. THANK YOU IF YOU ACTUALLY LISTENED TO THESE. all my love, sincerely.
i also apologize for cross-posting this like mad. i added an lj-cut for those of you asked. cheers!

Has anyone heard The Hives' latest album? I think it's pretty decent, but turned me off of buying CD's. Only because it's about 30 minutes long.
Anyone from British Columbia here?
