So I guess that I should recount the whole of my yesterday. Well at least give it a bit of an overview. Work still sucks. I am not in a depressed mode as much anymore. I am looking positive for the things that are going to end up happening this next year outside of work. I am very excited and ready to go. It will be good to have the change. I am very positive about it. Went to my Dr after work. Got out about on time and showed up twenty minutes early for the appt. In a way I always feel a bit unfufilled after these. Then again we are going to start me on Strattera. I think that it is the great new ADHD/ADD wonder drug. A sideeffect is that I might not eat as much. Which is alright because I think that I can stand to loose a good 20. Also it has the effect that it can raise blood pressure. So I am going to have to keep a close eye on that. Also I should get Sonja to check my pulse from time to time to make sure that it is not speeding up too much. Maybe this is the next chapter for my ADD? Not really sure but it is something different and I am ready to try it. I have to ramp up to the proper perscription dosage and then we will see where things are at. Fun stuff really. A long time since I have taken a capsule. Makes me think of DBZ. . . Spank it, Spank it, Spank it to a porno picture. . . (Just came to mind) After the Dr appt I headed down to see Dave at the UofM Hoptital. When I got in asside from the construction that is going on to form the new fireplace I thought that it was really nice. Found his floor ok and made my way to his room. When I got there he had just gotten back from some tests. The nurses were busy so it seemed that he sat in the wheelchair for a while until his nurse was freed up to help him out. Chatted with Margret for a while when we were waiting to get into his room to see him. Had a good chat for a while until he took a nap. Then I went off to lunch with Margret. After which I ended up getting a Milkshake from B&J.; It was tasty though just a bit runny. It was good to go down and see Dave. From what I can tell it seems that he is taking things in stride and that is comforting. I will attest to the fact that his blood pressure dropped when some people left his room. While I was there his lunch was delivered. It smelled great. I don't remember being in a hostipal when the food has smelled so good. A good sign that the proper care is going on. Things seemed a bit rushed. I believe that the hospital could benifit from some sort of scheduler. Something where they can better orginize when people have had tests and events. You know so they can schedule time inbetween things so that they can rest. Or maybe chaing things together a bit better. Like time PT for when he gets back to the room and needs to be up and about anyways. Make it part of the PT stuff just getting to the bed. But those are just my thoughts. It was good to see him though. Was reading Sonja's post about how we should go out and at the very least get a new matress. After how sore the muscles in my back are tonight I am thinking that it is a better idea. Though I really don't want to have to add another big thing when in a few months we are planning on moving. So I am torn on what to do. Speaking of moving. I have the temptation to start packing up things that we haven't been using much lately. That way it will be easier to deal with things later on. While talking to Margret earlier I expressed the favor of one house over the others. I hope that we can work something out to get that one. I really liked it. So I am excited to do the Morgage class on Monday to see what will happen. After that I feel that it is open season. Sonja is going to pick out a couple more houses to hit this weekend and I am looking forward to seeing what they have to offer. I need a nap. GTA:SA is a worthy cause. The soundtrack is great and the fact that there are so few pauses in transitions is amazing. I stole a plane and few around the whole map a couple of times and there was no hesitation on the PS2's part. Though I did hesitate when a fighter started coming after me. I like the fact that I have my pilot's lic now.
