There is a randomess in dreams. There is science, both based in the real and in the dream. There is pain, to remind you that you are real. Which doorway will you choose?

Facets and mirrors, a grain of truth reflected within. I am a duality, a nexus point in time/space where dream and the real intersect and become one. One facet is the scientist, manipulating life and its code. Another is the dreamer, seeking escape in image, word and sound.

I am a part time PhD student, completing a thesis on immunotherapy against allergens. I am also a part time speculative fiction writer. I am also, unfortunately, a full time sufferer from fibromyalgia and an as-yet not classified autoimmune connective tissue disease.
I post a good deal friends-locked, as well as under some specific filters, namely health, pagan topics, and writing excerpts.
