*squeels* Something good did come out of today X3 I'll spill later.
I'm trying to find a book or something online that tells you the right stitch to use on a purse. Some of the purse frames have holes in them which you are to sew by hand the fabric to the frame..so I'm trying to find out what stitch to use and coming up with nothing. Bah. Might have to join a sewing community in the new year hehe X3
Feeling tired ¬_¬ I'm determined to stay up long enough to read more of my book, 'Dance, Dance, Dance'. I keep reading it off and on because I get so sleepy I'm too tired to read. So read it when I'm on journeys [not that often]. So I'm going to make an effort to read it regularly since it is a fantastic book anyway.

The grand search for pretty purse clasps continues. I found a site in the US [unfortunately] that sell some really adorable ones at a reasonable price and even cute ones with loops on the clasp so you can attach a wrist strap or chain so it can become a handbag ^_^ The ideas I have for the ones I want to make are so cool :3 So I'm still searching..I really would prefer a seller in the UK but I just stumbled upon a site in the UK selling exactly the same thing as the US site and their prices are triple the US sites prices o_O I've emailed the US site in hopes they'll write back with a shipping estimate *crosses fingers*

This is really questions for the girls that sew on here. First question of the day is, would cotton be a suitable enough fabric to use for lining? Or will it not wear well and become weak rather quickly? Any other recommendations for lining fabric?
Also, I want to make purses like the Vivienne Westwood one below..but have no idea where to a) get the pursey clasp from and b) what is the pursey clasp bit actually called? Has anyone got any ideas on what the actual name of it is and if anyone knows where I can get them, I'd love you forever!
I have some really beautiful fabrics coming from the US. Some Victorian style patterened fabrics in pink and cream and blue and cream. They're really beautiful with ladies portraits and Victorian style patterns all over them :3 If anyone can help out, that would be fab..as I think I'm definitely getting a sewing machine for Christmas! X3

Does anyone remember the series Bewitched? Yep, I do. But guess what? They've made it into a film. Nicole Kidman will be playing Samantha and Will Farrel and Michael Caine are in it. The show was corny enough, we don't need a film kids hehe XD

I finally went to the post office after recieving an email from the Ebay person asking if I'd got compensation yet since they still haven't recieved what I sent on the 16th. I was hoping [possibly in vain] that it would turn up and it was just a matter of the Royal Mail being really fucking slow. But there you have it. So, I got my form to try and claim compensation back. I'm crossing my fingers.
I'm sleepy but have noodles now! Much happiness. I posted a load of stuff, namely peoples tees and some Ebay stuff. Evil_Sunshines tee is still here hehe, why? Because I'm not happy with her Christmas present yet..and might just be doing a new version. This will be the last try or I'll never be happy!

I can't believe it, my paid account actually expires on Christmas Eve hehe XD I just found that funny.
I'm tired. Went to bed late and woke up way to Goddamn early. I want to mail out packages today [before the biggest pile up ever happens in my room], make the rough sketches into understandable ones as far as things I want to make accessories wise ^_^ I'm going to work my way through sewing slowly. Start at the bottom then work my way up hehe XD But I do want to make the drawings look more presentable so I can understand them after Christmas.
Take a nap. I hate naps but I know it's going to happen if I like it or not.
I got the most fun package today XD I got XMas stuffies from Dita & C.Pants and I'm going to have rotten teeth thanks to those two XD There are so many yummy goodies and the gingerbread man isn't going to last long at all. He is already looked scared for his little ginger life! Thank you darlings :3

As a random thought from my brain - I'm thinking about selling my Craig Morrison, cherry red, spikey backpack. I'll ask Brother Louis first if he wants it [I doubt it though since it's red], otherwise it's going on Ebay. I really wanted it..but hey..I've not even used it. I've had it for months and tried stuffing in my belongings when I was going to stay with Rue in August [was too small hehe]. Otherwise it's had no use out of me, the previous owner yes, but out of me..not once has it seen outside my house. I've decided I shouldn't really hold onto particular things for the sake of holding onto them because I really wanted them at the time.
And also spending so much money on jewellery making supplies tonight was a good part of it lol XD I didn't do too bad and I did buy things to make myself a necklace for a change but still XD

I want to redo my user info page. It's getting on my nerves. It's about as exciting as someone farting on your hand by accident. No one wants that kind of warm feeling. So..I think I'll have a think about it and maybe do something later.
I'm still tinkering with the new version of The Ice Dance and it looks so much better than the current one at the moment. I really love it. I also finished the redesign of my webstore thats eagerly awaiting to be uploaded. Just need Dad to clear some space on the server now XD
I was going to pack up all the things I need to send out and low and behold, no brown paper. Why? Because I gave it to John the last time he stitched sold someone something on Ebay. He was rattling on so much and getting on my case I just gave it to him, now I need it. Bollocks.
Oh, I got the greatest brain wave for a brooch I want to make! X3

Hotmail keeps acting screwy, which is making MSN messenger screwy in turn. Pissing me off..just a little.
I made a pretty two strand bracelet this morning using Jade, Rose Quartz and Olivine beads.
I need coffee, but cannot be bothered to make any.
I'm a bit fed up because of a number of things.

I was going to stay up and have half an hour or so dedicated to the new version of The Ice Dance I'm working on. But I've felt knackered all day. Listening to John's bullshit wears a person out. Then responding to enquiries, sketching out new designs and trying to avoid dropping off to sleep. I even turned down starting to watch the Lain series because I felt so tired and out of sorts. It really was a combination of going to bed really late last night and waking up really early then listening to John having a go at me and spouting more bullshit and lies to everyone else.
I am just so ready for my bed now. It's looking so cosy, despite being unmade.

I'm tired but don't feel like going to bed yet. I spent the great portion of the day taking pictures, editing, resizing and then putting items up on Ebay.
I anticipated me and Dad going to Gloucester today but its being put off until next week. So I'm minus canvas board..and feel like painting. Bummer. Just my luck too. Nevermind. This gives me an opportunity to draw out ideas I have for things to make once I have a fixed sewing machine or a new one.
I'm fiddling with a design for a polo. I'm going for a simplified, more Gothic, version of the crown design. And I've done something really cool for a razorblade design which is pretty bloody nifty. Surprised it worked. Will post a picture later.

I'm at my favourite crazy old ladies house [my Nan's] eating roasted peanuts and enjoying broadband XD
Dad asked me if I thought I could make £50 a week with the stuff I make. I don't know, could do. Because well..a unit is going where my Mum is and the rent is £50 a week. I could sell my tshirts and jewellery there and maybe some paintings. Dad said aswell because a few young teens do go there with their parents, have nothing they can enjoy and look at so I could make a killing appealing to them. I don't know. The idea is exciting and something I wanted for in a few years but right now? I don't know. I really want to do it but I'm not sure I'm confident enough that I could make enough.
Must think about this.

Did anyone else watch the programme on ITV [at 1100pm], 'Chubby Chasers'? I saw it advertised and had my suspicions. The blatant stereotype that because you're a plus size, you have a bubbly personality and bounce around not minding wearing tents for dresses. But actually, I was proved wrong.
I think it should've been compulsory for all plus sized girls and women to have watch it. There was nothing sarcastic nor stereotypical about it and did show the sadness that being plus sized can bring. That you do not become asexual because you're big, that you are still a sexual being. And want to date and have a laugh, oh, and not dress up in a tent. They also talked to the men, all very skinny apart from one, talking about how they like their women and what they like about a plus sized woman. They also talked to 'closet' chubby chasers - one guy has hidden his girlfriend from his friend for nine years. She did leave him because she found a man that loved big woman and was happy to tell everyone. But how horrible must those nine years have felt, being a complete secret?
It was a lot of focus on online dating and a guy that the great majority of plus sized women loved. He was a sweetie and photographed girls at the bbw functions and parties. He broke their hearts by saying he was getting married. The girl he fell in love with was nearly 40 stone and thats how he liked his women. One of the women in the US [thats how he met his wife] said that if you put a 300lb woman and a 600lb woman side by side and said, pick one, he'd pick the 600lb woman in a flash. It was kinda nice to see a happy ending despite the closet cases that hurt womens feelings.
OMG there was this woman she was so hard up for money [she lived in NY] she found out about this thing called Squashing. Oh my frikkin God! She basically just sits on men, stands on their backs, lifts them and all sorts of other things because they like it! For $200 an hour. She had seven thousand dollars worth of debt and because it was so popular she paid off her debt within a matter of months - wowzers XD
So all in all, it was a good programme. I then watched the last 15 minutes of Sex & The City XD
All my cameo stuff came today. So I will be busy with that lot this afternoon!
