I'm seeing "Les Miserables" tonight, and I'm SO excited!
I'll update this more later though. Current Mood: excitedCurrent Music: "Another Night" - Real McCoy | Sunday, October 8th, 2000 | 16:27 pm |
hey....I know I haven't written anything here for awhile! Things have been really busy. Firstly, I've been spending almost every spare moment working on the play. Either meeting up with people to discuss it, or going over it myself, reading books on directing, and so on...just so that when the first rehearsal happens, which is next Saturday, I'm prepared. It's happening. Slowly. I'm still really nervous, but it should be okay. I have to learn not to hold back, with my ideas and thoughts...but it all comes with...time. It'll be alright! Really!
I'm struggling with getting all my assignments done, and it's no fun at all. But I'm actually doing pretty well this semester! Distinctions in my exams and that...much better than I ever hoped to expect. Oh well. 4 weeks of classes to go, we'll see how it all goes.
Work's okayish, except I'm dreading Christimas, and it's so busy there, that it's stressful and tiring. But oh well. No more Saturday shifts for the next 8 weeks, so I'm quite happy about that. It means less money, but right now, I just need a break. Besides, I'll still be working Thursdays, so I won't completely miss the place :P Like, sure.
Other stuff's been happening too...but this is just the general overview of my life. Just so you don't think I'm, dead, or something :P

the Olympics are over :( Current Mood: sadCurrent Music: the Closing Ceremony | 19:15 pm |
*sigh* the Olympics are ending right now.
What I want to know is, when the Olympics are in Athens, in 2004, when will the Greek Olympic team come out? First or last? :P Since they come first because that's where the Olympics first began...and the host team comes last.....hmmmm. Interesting :D I'll just have to watch the Olympics in 2004 to find out!
Yeah, the barbecue this afternoon was fun. And I didn't get lost :P But I finally got to meet Trish's kids. They're great, now I can finally put faces to names when she talks about them.
Hmmm, closing speeches are always so boring :P

under the southern skies...together in this land... I'm kinda sad that the Olympics are almost over. Oh well. They were great!
I'm going to a barbecue at Trish's place today...in about 1/2 an hour...and I just *know* that I'm going to get lost, because I have *no* sense of direction, whatsoever. So, if I don't return for a few days...I'm trying to find my way back home!
But it should be good, mostly some of the crew from work. It'll be fun.

Work was SO busy today and I'm totally worn out. *yawn*
So many people are leaving there, and I can't say I blame them...in the last 3 weeks, we've had about 7 or 8 people leave. I was saying that it's like a Survivor episode. "Who will be next to leave the Rebel island? Stay tuned for next week's episode of Survivor!"
bleah.

I feel sorry for that Romainian gymnast, the one who got her gold medal taken away for taking medicine for her cold. It seems cruel, and it wasn't even her fault! Stupid doctor. He should have been more aware. I hope she gets it back, or something.
I've actually had a somewhat productive day, and it feels nice to have at least started to accomplish someething. I don't know about you, but I think getting started is the hardest part of anything. Once you're stuck into it, it's not too bad.
Oh well.
This break is going way too quickly! :P I've spent half of it at uni or work anyway, so...not much of a break. nevermind.
I don't feel like studying anymore :P
