Your name of Victor gives you a clever mind, good business judgment, a sense of responsibility, and an appreciation of the finer things of life. You are serious-minded and not inclined to make light of things even in little ways, and in your younger years you had more mature interests than others your age. Home and family mean a great deal to you and it is natural that you should desire the security of a peaceful, settled home environment where you can enjoy the companionship of family and friends. Whatever you set out to accomplish you do your very best to complete in accordance with what you consider to be right. In the home you assume your responsibilities capably, having the self-confidence to form your own opinions and make your own decisions. Others can rely on you; once you have given your word you will do your utmost to fulfil a responsibility. However, there is a tendency to be a little too independent in your thinking and it is difficult for you to accept the help of others when you should. Due to your strong sense of responsibility, you could experience worry and mental turmoil through assuming more responsibility than you should. Friction could arise through others feeling that you were interfering with their rights and privileges, even though you are only trying to help.
Sounds like a guy I'd like to know :)

Episode 2 & The Return of the DSL |
[17 May 2002|12:56am] |
Saw Episode 2 last night. It was a horrible excuse for a movie. Only the last half hour or so was any good. After we got out of the movie a news guy from WBRZ came out and asked me about the movie on camera, so I told him what I thought. I was on the morning news dissing Star Wars :)
Anyway, on the bright side of things we are getting a new DSL modem tomorrow and yay its ethernet this time (last time it was a pci modem). Just gotta set up my linux box to share the connection when it gets here and I will be back in business.

Went back home to Lake Charles this weekend since one of my best friends (Cory) was graduating from McNeese. Friday we just kinda hung out and didnt really do much. Then Saturday we went to his graduation. Was pretty boring as most graduations are. Also found out that another friend of mine who I don't really talk to much graduated as well (even though I thought he did last year). Saw Cory's real dad for the first time (parents divorced a while ago and he lived with his mom/step-dad). It was kinda weird.
After that me and Sarah went back to my house for a while and chilled there. Then we went over to Cory's girlfriend's (Jill) apartment and started drinking at around I dunno 4 or so :) It was fun.
Anyway, Sunday we had a thing with my family at my brother's (Ismael) place. Talked to both my grandmothers. I can understand my mom's mother fine even though she speaks pretty fast. Have a lot of problems trying to figure out what my dad's mom is saying though. They both speak only spanish btw :) Well, we went over to Ish's where we had hamburgers (yummy). Also checked out a game him and Carrie (his wife) had bought. Morrowind. It was pretty cool though I encountered a bug and got stuck in a half-sunken boat within about 15 minutes of so of playing it =/
Afterwards we came back here and unfortunately we'd accidentally left the AC off all weekend... was around 100 degrees in here. Couple hours of constant AC later and its down to mid 80s. Major suckage. Decided to d/l the Siege editor for the game Dungeon Siege (which rocks btw... diablo-type gameplay). Gonna take a bit to get used to... though it is just a beta version of the thing.
Saw the Lakers game as well and they amazed me yet again. Somehow this team has an ability to suck massively and pull out games in the 4th quarter. Seems like every game in these playoffs they have sucked, yet they've only lost 1 game so far. Not sure if they can get past Sacramento with a gimped Shaq though (which will be the REAL NBA Finals :)
All in all it was a good weekend. Couple days left till Episode 2. woo hoo.

Happy b-day Phil.
*wonders if Phil's parents are still hoping for someone to say "April Fools!"* :)

ALBERT EINSTEIN'S RIDDLE
ARE YOU IN THE TOP 2% OF INTELLIGENT PEOPLE IN THE WORLD? SOLVE THE RIDDLE AND FIND OUT.
There are no tricks, just pure logic, so good luck and don't give up.
1. In a street there are five houses, painted five different colours. 2. In each house lives a person of different nationality 3. These five homeowners each drink a different kind of beverage, smoke different brand of cigar and keep a different pet.
THE QUESTION: WHO OWNS THE FISH?
HINTS
1. The Brit lives in a red house. 2. The Swede keeps dogs as pets. 3. The Dane drinks tea. 4. The Green house is on the left of the White house. 5. The owner of the Green house drinks coffee. 6. The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds. 7. The owner of the Yellow house smokes Dunhill. 8. The man living in the centre house drinks milk. 9. The Norwegian lives in the first house. 10. The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats. 11. The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill. 12. The man who smokes Blue Master drinks beer. 13. The German smokes Prince. 14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house. 15. The man who smokes Blends has a neighbour who drinks water.
ALBERT EINSTEIN WROTE THIS RIDDLE EARLY DURING THE 19th CENTURY. HE SAID THAT 98% OF THE WORLD POPULATION WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SOLVE IT.

A BLACK Dragon Lies Beneath!
I took the Inner Dragon online quiz and found out I am a Black Dragon on the inside. If there ever was an aparition of Evil, my Inner Dragon is it. Blackies are a fairly common dragon and are considered one of two harmonious dragons. My anti-thesis is the White Dragon. Together, we embody the Yin and Yang concept of eastern religions.
But I couldn't care less about that garbage. I like to chomp things, cause trouble, and seek unjustified revenge. My favorable attributes are the Moon, the stars, dreams, psychic guidance, seeking truth, and helpful dark magic. Everybody's still got to watch out for me though, because deep down I like to smite at random and have a nasty breath weapon combination of Fire and Acid. *evil grin* Fun, no?

I Am A: Neutral Good Human Fighter Paladin
Alignment: Neutral Good characters believe in the power of good above all else. They will work to make the world a better place, and will do whatever is necessary to bring that about, whether it goes for or against whatever is considered 'normal'.
Race: Humans are the 'average' race. They have the shortest life spans, and because of this, they tend to avoid the racial prejudices that other races are known for. They are also very curious and tend to live 'for the moment'.
Primary Class: Fighters are the warriors. They use weapons to accomplish their goals. This isn't to say that they aren't intelligent, but that they do, in fact, believe that violence is frequently the answer.
Secondary Class: Paladins are the Holy Warriors. They have been chosen by a God/dess to be their representative on Earth, and must follow the code of that deity, or risk severe penalties. They tend towards being righteous, but not generally to excess.
