IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Some users have reported difficulties creating new accounts or communities. LiveJournal administrators have been notified; your patience is appreciated as they work to resolve this issue. It is not necessary to open a request about this.
Users who incorrectly answer a captcha (security code) the first time will subsequently receive an error that their answer is incorrect every time following. Please refresh the page until a new code is displayed to resolve this problem.
The directory and advanced directory search are currently under high loads. Searches may return no results or cause your browser to timeout. System Administrators are aware of this problem and it is unnecessary to open a support request regarding this issue.
Many Internet Service Providers are blocking LiveJournal comment email as "spam". If you are not receiving your comment emails, please see Where are my comment notification emails? for further information, and then contact your email provider.
If you are opening a Support request regarding your journal or friends page not appearing to update properly, please clear your browser cache and see if that resolves the problem before opening a request.
Logging in as a community has been permanently disabled. All community maintenance that once required logging in as a community can be performed by a maintainer's personal account.
