Adult life's not been exactly a boquet of flowers for me. It's picking up, though. I recently moved back to Portland, where I actually enjoy living. I have actual friends here and feel better in general about life. The ultimate goal of coming here (if there is one), though, is to end my quasi-self-inflicted singlehood, which will take some figuring out for an utterly clueless sonofabitch like myself. This journal's entries are about 75% locked from public view, meaning only the people on my friends list can view them. These include day-to-day happenings, communications to friends, and personal reflections. They generally aren't very interesting. However, the nature of the internet is such that any weirdo or government agent can poke and prod around in one's public entries, and in all honesty it gives me the heebie jeebies. So the boring-ass memes and general rants are available to the hoi polloi, but the rest is hidden from all but the unlucky chosen few.
