    SK8 or DIE
Well the dust is starting to settle. Mike and I are moved into our place. We’ve been there a month. Oh yeah we also have his rottwieler B’Gira with us. That has been a trip and a half. I like dogs... but not so sure about the responsibility and hair everywhere.
Zara and I joined an ALL GIRLS ROLLER DERBY team. Well the group of 30 had our 2nd meeting last night. Its sounds like we will be playing against each other for a few months till we get everything down. After that we will be playing girls from Wisconsin, Iowa and South Dakota. The Other teams live in Texas, Nevada and California. If there is enough support we may fly down to play.
There is a bout in Las Vegas that I am hoping we will be able to make it to. We already have some sponsors, Psycho Suzy’s, I ROBOT and Saint Sabrina’s. The triple rock and 93X are in the wings too. I am so stoked for this! I really hope it takes off and everyone catches the fever! Who wouldn’t love Hot chicks on roller-skates and kicking other girls asses on the rink!

    rocka chicka
I am soo excited seven days left till Zara and I head to Las Vegas for
the rock-a-Billy weekender! Some how we scored gold coast hotel rooms
even though the website said it was SOLD OUT for the convention. Cute
boys and girls you better watch out here comes the Minneapolis Mamas.
There is a part of me that wishes I could put the boyfriend on the back
burner. But damn I know I will miss him…So I moved into mike’s place. Yes Mom
and Dad I know we are living in sin.
GeezThough there is that little girl in me that is sad to disappoint my
parents. Do we ever shake their influence? It is a good thing they like
him. I hope all goes well when I am gone and he is helping dad re-shingle
    the house….
Met Christian for coffee week back. He is always good company. An
excellent ear, a tickler of the funny bone and quite a sage.
With all this moving and being in love I seemed to have put friends on the
back burner. Need to make a mental note to keep better contact with pals.

    for the love of........
Went to the ymca today wanting to play badminton. the schedule said badminton. So why the fuck is there a guy telling me this is a closed gym. "we rent this out for our traveling team" "we are professionals" "Have you ever played?...with professionals?
Blah... Told him i was just looking for friendly game.

    Did you bring your racket?

I did not know you had to supply your own gear.

Well if there is room maybe someone has an extra racket and you can get in a game.
"how about you sit and watch. we do have a waiting list if you want to join us."

Oh thank you high and mighty badminton god of the midwest. asshole.....

So i take myself to the fitness room and hop on a stair glider. do that for about 20 minutes. to cool down i go upstairs to walk around the track. the track is above the gym looking over all who are in it. I see that dude and two other players. What a mighty team you have there and you have a waiting list?!?!

Mike and i are doing really well. It scares me how well we compliment each other. He has a plan for us. After our leases are up move in together, save money for a house. if we are still happy with one another then buy a house if not the money we saved would put us in separate apartments.... Only time will tell.....

here it is the first bump in my relationship with mike. Luckily it was only ant hill size and able to smooth it over quickly. Basically his ex fiance (mind you she spread rumors that he beat her up. She tried to sue him and lost.Told him she never ever wanted anything to do with him. He did owe her money BUT he told her to keep the engagement ring.Worth way more then the money he owed her..) anyways she called him on Saturday Asked him to go for a beer so they can "talk".. I was not happy about it but i understood that it was something that needed to be done. Just like i thought she wanted him back. Mike told her he's has a girl he likes and it was to late for her. Good boy.

    vacation all i ever wanted...
Arrived in munich on monday morn.. We spent all day in a "beer tent" for oktober fest and yes i did drink lots-o-beer. Also ate half a chicken..Now here i am in prague. It is raining quite a bit so we are drinking in our hostel. It was hell on the train from munich to prague... First the CUNTductor Said our tickets were not valid.. which was bullshit... i was fighting this man to the end no matter what. Afer an hour he finally saw that was right... he threw our sheets at us and unlocked our cabin... After that border police came onto the train and hassled us about 4am... They kept checking our passports and drews bags.. We were in such a hurry that Drew lost the rest of his train tickets this morning. it sucks we might not be able to ride the rest of the way together. We'll find out more tomorrow...
Time to drink the worries away.......

Tonight is Rockabilly Queen Wanda Jackson and opening for her is Sherwin Linton who was pretty good friend with Johnny Cash and did back up guitar on some albums. It will be kind of sad to listen to him do his impersonation of Johnny Cash. He is quite good at it. “Hello I’m Johnny Cash”

So come down to Lees Liquor Lounge for a remembranceparty

The Irish Heritage Festival is this weekend. Awesome free bands and a Jameson tent. I kept thinking how cool it would be if SICKLEE were here to enjoy this with me. This year one of the bands is Flogging Molly and they are playing 2 shows. How cool is that.

    Subject: MARS
    Taken from Space.com

This month and next Earth is catching up with Mars, an encounter that will
culminate in the closest approach between the two planets in recorded
    history.

The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.
Prior to the 1988 close pass, the two planets were even closer in 1971, just 34.9 million miles (56.2 million kilometers) apart. The 2003 approach is less than 1 percent closer than the one in 1971, Standish points out.

"So it's not like you're going to see something gigantic in the sky," he said. "It’s not like Mars is going to look like the Moon or anything."

Mars will appear strikingly brilliant, however. It will be about as bright as Jupiter ever gets. It will shine like a beacon in its characteristic red or orange, in stark contrast to most of the other planets and stars, which exhibit little color.

Officially, Mars will reach magnitude minus-2.9 on a scale used by astronomers to denote brightness. Lower numbers indicate brighter objects, and negative numbers are reserved for the very brightest.

The Red Planet will present a large enough disk for backyard astronomers with good-sized telescopes to discern some of the planet's features, such as the polar ice cap, dark surface features and perhaps even storm clouds.

Well my access to the world wide web still is down. Soon though, very soon.... Bahb will be coming over to check it out..
My favorite waiter at the Triple rock and i will be leaving for Germany on the 21st of September. Our route is Munich to Prague then Berlin to Amsterdam. LAst time i checked the Euro is kicking our ass. So tip him well!
I am no longer needed for court. The 3 subpoenas can be thrown out. One plead guilty and the other two were dismissed BUT all three are being deported. Insert Happy dance! Rule here kids is don't stab someone to death.
On the other hand i may need to testify for some friends that had there asses handed to them by our lovely MPD. Dennis had his surgery a couple of days ago. We will find out next week if his eye will ever be the same. Damn police brutality.
