Mmm. My hair, is lighter. I suppose, it was, sort of worth it. The the process of 'Frosting' your hair with a color kit is annoying. And uncomfortable. You put this stupid old-ladyish cap on, and get someone to pull strands of your hair from it. It takes an hour of poking, pulling, untangling. It's the worst. Then, this goop that stinks worse than anything you could imagine, and is so strong your eyes water, is applied to the strands, for an antagonizing twenty minutes. (Only twenty, my hair was under the 'dark blonde' category.) Then my hair was rinsed, the plastic-thingie pulled off, and my hair washed with shampoo. My mom washed it for me, in the big kitchen sink. That wasn't a good choice. When I lifted my head up, my hair, was, an absolutely mass of knots. My mom applied tons of this nasty leave in conditioner (much to my distaste) and tried to tell me what to do, sort of. But nevertheless, I kind of pushed everyone out of the bathroom to do my own thing. Well, after about ten minutes my hair was smoothed out, my scalp aching. I began the process of blow-drying, which really, takes 20 minutes. And it's terrible. It gets soooooooo hot in the bathroom, even with the door opened. Then I was done, and I'm pretty okay with the results. It's definately lighter, and looks pretty natural, except for a one spot, where a steak runs through a darker area in my hair. Mmm, I'm just glad it's over.
School was okay today, certainly, and luckily not as hot as yesterday. Mmm, yeah well, I'm going to go look out the window. <^..^> I hear voices outside. :P

I think everybody is watching Survivor. Nobody is online, not on AIM, not on the MU*, not.... on. Boring, boring, boring. Well... maybe I'll watch the last hour of Survivor or something. Maybe.

Outside, everything, on impulse, decided to bloom. A few days ago, actually. But it's nice s'all green and stuff. Survivor is on right now. You know, that show everyone is obsessed with. I've watched this season on and off. Mmm, I hope Colby wins, only 'cuz he deserves to 'n' stuff. Actually, I don't really care, come to think of it. I'll bet half of it is acted out, somehow. 'Cuz how could the camera crews just watch people go around starving and stuff? And they must tell somehow organize the votes before they take them out of that little can thing, 'cuz in the end it's always all dramatic before he pulls out the last name that decides who is voted off the island... ugh. On the subject of reality shows... I do, kind of like Survivor, and I liked The Mole. That one, uhm, Temptation Island was terrible. ...I don't really like any of the other ones. It's still all light outside, and it's 8:10. That annoys me, 'cuz now I can't sit in my pajamas in front of the computer screen without feeling like I'm lazy for wearing pajamas when it's still all light out. :P Maybe... I'll go watch Suvivor. I'm bored enough.
current mood: weird current music: er, i dunno what it's called. it's stupid, whatever it is.

days until school ends: 30. I have a feeling... that will be the longest 30 days of my life. It seems like forever, though, it seems like this year will never end. And I'm sure that is how it will feel. For some reason, I can't even imagine how next year is going to be. I can't imagine me with the same people or anything. I'll probably end up with no one I know in my classes, and then forget about my old friends... I hope I won't. But that's what happened in 7th grade; I stopped hanging out with my group of friends, and just sort of switched. That was, for different reasons, however. I don't think I ever really told anyone why, I don't think they'd understand. 'Cause I'm weird and nobody gets me. :P I like it that way... Anyway, today... boring. Hot, and really nice outside... I wore shorts to school. A rumor was going around that the principal actually drove a girl, personally, back to her house during lunch to change her shorts, because they were too short. Stupid pinky-length rule; it just doesn't make any sense. If I were to actually obey that rule, my shorts would end just above my knee, instead of mid-thigh... augh.

I kinda forgot about livejournal; that and I was a simply boring person all week. No volleyball anymore, nothing's up... and school is, as usual, lame, hot, and uneventful. Other then french class (er, not really because of the french, just the people) and lunch, it's boring. I already mentioned that, though. Or something like that. Today... it was nice outside, my sister and I went up to CVS (which, btw, is the stupidest name for a drugstore, and they always have to put that annoying /Pharmacy after the letters CVS... grr) on our bikes. My sister tried to convince me to highlight my hair to a lighter blonde, but I was skeptical (so many people walk around with orange hair- highlighting kits gone bad.), so we stood there for thirty minutes reading dye boxes and argues with each other on why and why not I should do it. Finally, I decided I wasn't going to do it. Then she tried to get me to buy 'Sheer Blonde' shampoo. No. I bought candy, a pen, and nail polish. Heh. Made Jackie kind of upset. I got home, let Jackie do my hair, which actually turned out kind of cute, and wore her platform sandals, because I felt like it. It made me, like, 5'11. It was thrilling. Then I played basketball. And then watched the first half of 'Meet Joe Black,' which was very complicated, so I decided not to watch it, and here I am, here I have been since 9pm. I talked to Haley on AIM, she told me 'bout a salon where you can get a free highlighting job from one of their trainees. She had it done last week, it looked awesome. You only have to leave the lady a great tip, she said, like $20.00 or something, which is a really good deal. I'm thinking about that.

I just noticed, anytime I put my mood as anything that relates to being 'happy' or 'cheerful' or something, that stupid little icon jumping up and down with his mouth open... it's bugging me. Sorry. Just had to get that out. Too bad there wasn't a dead smiley-type icon.

12:21 pm - how i hate those sims
|
I bought the sims... a year ago; around the time when it came out. And I'm still hopelessly obsessed with the game. Making the sims falls in love. Forcing them to do stupid things. And most of all, designing their pathetic houses. And now I feel I need the newest expansion pack. Aughhhh.
My sister is also hopelessly devoted to the sims. And she takes up my computer time. :P I need... my own computer.
Today it is raining on and off, and when it's off it's wet. Ugh. So no basketball, volleyball, etc. Just nintendo and computer and... reading. And writing. Anyway, the point is, it's raining. And tonight I'm staying over at Haley's. And she has a hottub, and she invited some of her friends from Bunny's along with me to have a little hottub party. Ah, well. I'm... preoccupied so I'm really just babbling. Oh yes... spring break ends this Monday. *sobs*

12:13 am - but it's still really monday, even though it's tuesday
|
Whew. It's midnight. And I am finally home. And very bored. It's not a good idea to drink Gatorade and eat a box of Russel Stovers at 11:30pm. Nope, you just get a wee-bit hyper... and... awake. So I'm /bored/. No one is awake. And nobody is online.
Today was very busy. I was woken from my peaceful dreams at 8:30. We went out for brunch at 'The Original Pancake House' (NOT IHOP!) and then went over my Great Grandmother's. It was her birthday... my second cousins were there, that was cool.
Got home, checked my caller-ID, my friend called... we were suppose to get together today, so I called her back, and ended up spending the rest of the afternoon over there. I got home... and Haley had called, and then I ended up going over there, chatting in the hottub and playing 'The Sims.' ^^
And now.... I'm home. And I'm bored. And nobody cares. And I'm repeating myself. I think I'll just... go work on my webpage. :P Laterz.
current mood: hyper current music: Maybe... (you know, the Annie soundtrack? Yeah.)

11:56 am - raining on the happiness
|
I went to church this morning, of couse. We managed to get a seat, and didn't have to sit in the social hall and listen to the mass from the speakers. :P Some people wern't so lucky... It's all those once-a-year church goers who screw up everything. I mean, they don't even know what to do. They just stand there. And they don't know any of the prayers. They just go to church... to go, I guess. Sort of an obligation. Which is annoying. If they don't really want to go, they why do they go? Just stay home... :P Despite my rantings, I'm actually in a great mood. I'm going over my aunt's later, my cousins are gonna be there. Though it'll probably be nothing less than semi-boring, there's nothing to do over there, my aunt doesn't have any kids or anything, so she doesn't have a nintendo, a basketball net... or anything. And it's raining. Sprinkling, actually. It's nasty outside, too bad we couldn't swap today for yesterday. Because yesterday was niiiiice. Yes, I can eat chocolate again today. I ate my Cadburys, and I'm working on my Russell Stovers. Actually, they say 'Clara Stovers', but when I open the box it says 'Russell Stovers.' It's really confusing me. But then again, I don't really care. I'm just trying to eat them without eating the ones with the nasty nut-paste in them. You have to poke them with your finger. And then if you don't like it, you can give it to somebody else. But then they never want to eat it because your finger has been in it. ^^ Anyways, I'm off to amuse myself of the computer. Which means, playing the nintendo, of course. Arn't I just the most active person you've ever known?

9:07 am - late to bed, early to rise makes a person... tired.

9:07. That is early. Why am I even up? I hate getting up early. There's nothing to do. I am going to a bday party this afternoon at my friend Denice's... that starts at 11. 11 is early too. Maybe I should go thrill myself by trying to beat Phantom Ganondorf. ^^ He's the guy on Zelda. I lurve Zelda. I just got re-obsessed with it. Actually, I cheat, I get walkthroughs off the internet, so my sister thinks she is better then me... erm... she is in that way, but not in that one. Nevermind. I'm confusing myself. I don't even know why I'm writing this. Because nobody really cares and everybody is probably still sleeping. Because it is Saturday.

11:56 pm - crumpled flower
|
Yesterday I got a letter from the Michigan PTA. It was to announce my winning of a Merit award for my piece (btw, which I don't even know which one it is-- my story of poem)... it's confusing me! I didn't even win at the city level. It's cool though. I'm excited... and now I feel like I've lived up to my expectations. But I still feel guilty. Still not as good as last year. Crumpled flower, still smells good but is... er- crumpled. heh. But I'm happy for myself. I was saved. Today was boring. I babysat. I read. I ate. And now I am here. It's kinda late. Nobody else is up. It's creepy. ^^

8:54 pm - hurry up and lose
|
Last volleyball game was today. I played my best, and scored some points, but we were still beaten 6-0. That is really pathetic. We have never won a game. Anyway, I myself am waaaaayy better at vball than I was when I started. I'm trying out next year... though I'm not sure if I'll make it. I can't go to camp this summer, we'll be on vaca. I hated losing today, though. I tried so hard, and then some people were out there not even trying... it got to the point in the last game, where duh, we were going to lose anyway... we were like 'just hurry up and lose so we can go home...' okay. So that's not a very good attitude. But I was all uhm, 'preppy' until I wanted to go home. Which was after my games. :P Yeah, so today was Haley's bday. Happy bday, Haley... hope you like your stuff.... After volleyball today sucked. I worked my butt off on my french project, finding all the good pics of my family, and typing up those paragraphs. The final product is pretty good. Hopefully an 'A', at least. Considering I did it in 2 days, it's awesome. ^^ So now I'm just sitting here chillin' on the computer. And it's boring. And there's nothing to do. And nobody is on AIM or anything. Ugh. -michL

9:50 am - confusion
|
Gawd. I'm a smart one... spent 10 minutes poring over this livejournal edit type thing, and then finally saw that you have to press 'proceed' on the little modify screen, and that is wasn't just some 'tarded thing there to ask if I was really michL8705. Heh. Today was boring. Some little career day thing going on at school, the admin's attempt at 'getting us involved with our futures with people to set examples...' Heh, some examples. 6 of the 'representitves' didn't even show, without an excuse... it was boring, as I said, anyway. Worked on that stupid French project I saved for last minute after school, went to the vball pizza party, which was... indescribable. An interesting experience, at the least... ^^ Someone did manage to break a window at the restuarant, I'm surprised they didn't give us the boot.
