uhg. stupid lotr. i don't understand wh they won all of those when rotk is exactally the same as the other two and the other two won barely anything. it's just so aggravating.
i think Lost In Translation should've won for best picture instead of rotk. i wish Bill Murray would've won instead of Sean Penn, but i can't say that with all honesty because i haven't seen Mystic River yet.
Nicole Kidman just keeps getting skinnier and skinnier. she's going to waste away, unlike me. i'm getting fat. ew. granted it's only my stomach but it's starting to stick out and it looks disgusting. fat fat fat.
i hate being so depressed. when i get depressed, i eat. and when i eat, i get depressed. i did 30 situps in one sitting today. i know it's not alot for some of you but it is for me. i can feel it now and i'll feel it even more tomorrow.
anyway, i'm ranting.

ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND
This is the story of a guy, Joel (Carrey), who discovers that his long-time girlfriend, Clementine (Winslet), has undergone a psychiatrist's (Wilkinson) experimental procedure in which all of her memory of Joel is removed, after the couple has tried for years to get their relationship working fluidly. Frustrated by the idea of still being in love with a woman who doesn't remember their time together, Joel agrees to undergo the procedure as well, to erase his memories of Clementine. The film, which takes place mostly within Joel's mind, follows his memories of Clementine backwards in time as each recent memory is replaced, and the procedure then goes on to the previous one, which is likewise seen, and then erased. Once the process starts, however, Joel realizes he doesn't really want to forget Clementine, so he starts smuggling her away into parts of his memory where she doesn't belong... which alters other things about his memories as well.
oh god, i am so excited for this movie to come out! i saw the previews before Big Fish and Danny and i freaked out. we love Jim Carrey's serious roles. in fact, i love it when all comedians do serious roles. i love Bill Murray in Rushmore and Lost In Translation.
anyway, i'd go see it on opening day but i'm going to be at the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. maybe i'll go the next day. hm.
by the way, Danny and i are going to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. who else wants to come? it's only twenty dollars.
