Kevin may be on a bad luck streak, but I seem to be riding a good one...
Not only have I gotten into NYU and BU, but now Tufts is on my list of schools to accept me as well. So far, I'm three for three...
Perhaps this streak will continue with Georgetown? *pray*

I got my blood taken for testing today. *whimper* I HATE getting my blood taken. It means needles. It means little pricks in skin. It means PAIN. Lots and lots of pain. *gah*
Lacrosse was fun. Very refreshing, surprisingly. I felt good running around, breathing in the crisp air. Plus, we actually did something today instead of just stood around...

    So here's the deal
I stood on line for an hour. Got to the windows of the store. Saw Lena sitting at a table, took a picture. Saw Yulia sit down, took a picture. Patiently waited to get in for my autograph (they would be signing until 4). 330 came. They got up. I took a picture. They sat on the counter. I took a picture. They kissed. I took a picture. They left.
    ...
No, I didn't get my CD signed. It was great seeing them, but I really wanted an autograph. Driving all the way to fucking Wayne was hell. Now I am inclined to write them a letter, explaining what happened and asking for an autograph. Seriously. Fascist FYE. I would have gotten in if they had actually paid attention to the people cutting the line. Motherfuckers.
I AM SO FUCKING PISSED OFF.

    Melissa McIntyre is hot.
I finally got my hair done. It's all brown, blonde, and red now, and straight, but that last part won't hold true for long. It looks really awesome, particularly since it looked like shit when I walked into the hair-stylist's and looked fantabulous when I walked out. And people didn't recognize me. That's a good thing.
I told off two guys who walked into Yla. *feels powerful*

    Artificial love
I hate my uterus. In the past few months, I have gotten my period on Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and, now, Valentine's Day. I'm not even kidding. It's a bloody conspiracy. A really bloody one.
My mom's going to be home in a few minutes, so I've got to cut this short. Bah. Maybe I'll write some proper bashing of Valentine's Day later since, you know, I have no regrets over hating it since no one loves me and all.

I hate people. With a passion.
Perhaps this is why I have no Valentine. No, let me rephrase that: perhaps this is why no one loves me. I am greatly saddened by the fact that I fall in love with the wrong kind of people and the wrong kind of people (other people, mind you) fall in love with me. I cannot feasibly attain my love, the others cannot feasibly attain me. It's annoying.

    Meet me in outer space
I really have this urge to hit a punching bag. Not quite sure why, but the whole idea of getting out all my energy seems very appealing at the moment.
I suppose I should mention that I'm still very excited about The Wind Waker coming out in about a month-and-a-half, particularly because it will come out the day before States, so I can have two days to simply play. The way things are looking, though, I'll probably play through Ocarina of Time first, then the new one. *shrug* Oh, and I need a strategy guide. Most definitely.
    See? Obsession:
Yesterday was a snow day. *woo* I was effectively bored the whole day, though, so perhaps it wasn't the greatest thing. Oh, well, at least I was home when my mom came back from the hospital, so it wasn't as if I was sitting in class, wondering how she was doing.
    Anyhoo, my mom's a-ok. ^_^
I've also got another obsession that's making my mom doubt my intelligence:
Don't tell me both of those games aren't beautiful. I love video games. I really do. They help me forget about life. *eyes Super Mario Sunshine lovingly*
So, um, yeah, I've got to go shower before I get yelled at for sitting on my lazy ass, which gets more and more enjoyable as the days pass. Homework? High school? College? Fuck it all.

    My personality is rated 32.
    What is yours?

    32/50
    what does that mean?
Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.
    ...
For some reason, today has been a really good day. No one has really pissed me off, I seem to be in a cheery mood, I found some lost yellow Starburst in my backpack, and I got two posters of Orlando Bloom and David Beckham. *shrug* I get these days in my life sometimes. I enjoy them greatly, actually. ^.^

Stress is a six-letter word. Yeah, I know, I'm dumb.
Okay, so I finally finished doing all my financial aid forms by myself. *woo* Oh, and right now, I really love NYU for only wanting the FAFSA and not some CSS-Business-Green-Card-2001-Tax-Form-bullshit. They are now god.
So, yeah, I almost fainted from extreme hunger. I hadn't eaten anything since about 7 last night, then the second I woke up, I started running around doing all my stuff (since the post office closes at 1, and I needed all the letters to be postmarked by today). I didn't realize how hungry I was until I sat down, when I became extremely dizzy and started falling forward. Fortunately, my dad yelled to me, so I regained composure before I slammed my head against my very hard wooden desk.
I think it's time I get up again and play some video games. God knows I need an outlet for my anger.

    I've got a secret I can't tell
    I wish I could, though...
Christina Aguilera is on the cover of this week's US. For once, I don't think she looks like a slut. In fact, I think she looks absolutely gorgeous. But that's besides the point, now isn't it?
So, um, yeah, I went skiing yesterday. Had a moderately fun time, considering my mystifying powers of supreme alientation. I skiied a bit by myself, since no one would go with me on the harder trails...maybe better, though, considering I busted my ass on an ice ball. Ok, not my ass, but my ski managed to pull my leg back to an unnatural position before popping off, leaving me with a pulled muscle and incredible pain for about half an hour. So, what did I do in that half hour? Go back on trails. Stupid me.
I failed my calc midterm. I just know I did. I didn't wholly finish any of the open-ended questions, plus I didn't finish the first part. Damn it, I really needed a good grade, too. *bah*
Oh, and I get to fail my French midterm. Joygasmicon for me.
Perhaps I should go do my chores before my mom gets home. Yeah, I don't feel like getting yelled at. Then again, I wish I could make my own decisions for once instead of being told, "You have to fold the laundry before I get home." It's my laundry, why can't I fold it later?
    ...

    Don't look at me
Sometimes I really do think it would be easier to be a hermit. No one hating me for stupid reasons. No friends who are too cowardly to stand up against someone doing them wrong. No parents constantly reminding me of my faults. No gorgeous people teasing me...
"So don't you bring me down today."
I have a ton of homework to do, yet I don't feel like doing it whatsoever. I like playing my video games. I like sitting around doing nothing. Maybe I'll never cut it as a lawyer or a political scientist or a teacher or whatever I'll be when I'm older. Maybe I should just stay home and be my dad's second partner in his business...make shitloads of money just by being naturally good in speaking and writing.
The world is really unfair. If I go to Georgetown, my parents have to refinance everything, and I'll have to get a part-time job from the beginning in place of a monthly allowance; meaning, everything I thought my college life would be like, won't be. Then again, I can just go to UNC and think about how I wasted four years of high school. Either way, life sucks.

    I am a robot
So I have my period now, right? It only lasts five days, it isn't heavy, and I don't get cramps. But there is one thing that pisses me off about it: it drives my craving for chocolate into overdrive. Fucking chocolate with its aphrodisiac abilities.
O_O I just realized that Yulia and Lena's eyes are extremely alike. Creepy stuff. Yes, so I'm a tatu addict. It doesn't matter, I've made all my friends tatu addicts...even two of the "perfect girls." Heh, only Jess will know what I'm talking about.
Why can't I get paid to make out with a hot girl on stage and sing about being in love with gay guys (because we all know I've gone through that several times!)? It's not fair. Gah.
I've decided that when I go to college, I'm going to end up cutting my hair so that I have bangs in front about the same length I have now and a boy-cut in back (you know, the shaved back). It's a cut I've wanted for a while but never had, and if there's one thing I can't stand, it's the same haircut for more than six months. Stupid randomness.
Oh, wait, I just realized something else: if I go to Poland this summer, I will have access to the original Russian tatu CDs...maybe a concert...maybe even *gasp* seeing them! Ok, the last one is a stretch, but that'd be cool. *begins planning evil plans*
...ugh, Yulia's boyfriend is really ugly...
Chicago was a great movie. Go see it, but try not to be too disappointed when Velma and Mama don't sing "Class"...I was about to cry, but the "Cell Block Tango" made up for it, slightly.
Hey, tatu IS planning concerts in Poland. Fuck yeah.
I'm babbling now, so maybe I should actually go do my homework now. Yeah, that might help. Ehehe. *stays* Shit, I'm so bad at doing things that need doing. Oh, but before I go, I'd like to mention that I hate my uterus.

With the Shine Sprites, I am God
My mom just told me that my family's expected contribution to my college education is $30000, meaning that I will get nothing in financial aid. Great. My parents really aren't in the condition to pay that much money a year, but I guess they'll have to, especially since I applied to schools that range in the $30000-$40000 area. Then again, maybe I'll just go to Penn State. I'm applying there, by the way. The $20000 price tag doesn't seem too bad anymore.
Right, so, Super Mario Sunshine is the brightest and most addictive game ever. I swear, I'm going to get a seizure soon from all the colors. True, the game will become obsolete in my household once my Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness reaches the doorstep of my house, but for now my little cube of shine-sprity-ness will do.
Mind you, I am now angry at Sony for waiting until 2005 to release its PS3. This means I shall have to purchase a PS2 in due time. Bah. Damn it. Damn it all to hell. *shakes fist menacingly*
Um, ice cream is good. Really good. Being fat isn't, but oh well. Ice cream is good.
So, yeah, I might have this thing called hypothyroida where your thyroid gland is underactive, thus casuing such things as low body temperature, slow metabolism, and acne. Yep, that's me. Granted, I don't have all the symptoms, but that's because this is probably a small thing, not some huge disease that has to be treated immediately.
    Right. Adieu.

-- Click Here To Take The Test --

Ok, now for an explanation of my "High" and "Very High" categories:
    Paranoid
Paranoid personality disorder is characterized by a distrust of others and a constant suspicion that people around you have sinister motives. People with this disorder tend to have excessive trust in their own knowledge and abilities and usually avoid close relationships with others. They search for hidden meanings in everything and read hostile intentions into the actions of others. They are quick to challenge the loyalties of friends and loved ones and often appear cold and distant to others. They usually shift blame to others and tend to carry long grudges.
    Schizotypal
Many believe that schizotypal personality disorder represents mild schizophrenia. The disorder is characterized by odd forms of thinking and perceiving, and individuals with this disorder often seek isolation from others. They sometimes believe to have extra sensory ability or that unrelated events relate to them in some important way. They generally engage in eccentric behavior and have difficulty concentrating for long periods of time. Their speech is often over elaborate and difficult to follow.
    Borderline
Borderline personality disorder is characterized by mood instability and poor self-image. People with this disorder are prone to constant mood swings and bouts of anger. Often, they will take their anger out on themselves, causing themselves injury. Suicidal threats and actions are not uncommon. They think in very black and white terms and often form intense, conflict-ridden relationships. They are quick to anger when their expectations are not met.
    Histrionic
People with histrionic personality disorder are constant attention seekers. They need to be the center of attention all the time, often interrupting others in order to dominate the conversation. They use grandiose language to discribe everyday events and seek constant praise. They may dress provacatively or exaggerate illnesses in order to gain attention. They also tend to exaggerate friendships and relationships, believing that everyone loves them. They are often manipulative.
    Avoidant
Avoidant personality disorder is characterized by extreme social anxiety. People with this disorder often feel inadequate, avoid social situations, and seek out jobs with little contact with others. They are fearful of being rejected and worry about embarassing themselves in front of others. They exaggerate the potential difficulties of new situations to rationalize avoiding them. Often, they will create fantasy worlds to substitute for the real one. Unlike schizoid personality disorder, avoidant people yearn for social relations yet feel they are unable to obtain them. They are frequently depressed and have low self-confidence.
    Obsessive-Compulsive
Obsessive-Compulsive personality disorder is similar to obsessive-compulsive anxiety disorder. People with this disorder are overly focused on orderliness and perfection. Their need to do everything "right" often interferes with their productivity. They tend to get caught up in the details and miss the bigger picture. They set unreasonably high standards for themselves and others, and tend to be very critical of others when they do not live up to these high standards. They avoid working in teams, believing others to be too careless or incompetent. They avoid making decisions because they fear making mistakes and are rarely generous with their time or money. They often have difficulty expressing emotion.
    ...
Wow, I really am fucked up in the head. Hehe, that's funny.
